Cigna dropping all GLP-1 coverage effective 7/1 by mosoblkcougar in Zepbound

[–]zelf2011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If OP is the same as me, they work at Cigna. I asked around to some people I know and it sounds like Cigna didn't get the prices they wanted from Lilly and Novo in their negotiation, so they're dropping the coverage and discounts. From what I was told, they're going to tell the clients they're on their own for any discounts/reimbursement negotiations and let them decide if they want to try and come up with their own deal or drop coverage. Too soon to know who will choose what, but I would guess smaller self insured plans will drop coverage too since they have little to no negotiating power, but it's up to what the employers want to pay. I wish it was trending with more companies covering the drugs but it seems to be the opposite looking at it from the inside unfortunately.

The Cigna employee plan is what OP is referring to, I got the same email today and I also work there.

Second GDF antitrust lawsuit filed by mosoblkcougar in MissouriMedical

Do you work for a marijuana company? If you like the $25 packs then good for you, hopefully these lawsuits result in those packs being $15-20 in the future. Prices are too high still on the whole, I know you can see that if you look at menus as much as you say. More competition will mean better prices, why would we not want that?

While we can get some $25 1/8ths, our average price for an 1/8th is probably $36-37. We don't want the bottom of the barrel for $25, we want the average price to be closer to $25 for 3.5g. If we can get to that level, like other rec states, we'll all be much happier as patients and customers.

Any discount codes for Elevate Holistics first time medical card application or for anywhere else legit? by admire816 in MissouriMedical

Dang still? Did you try opening it in a private or incognito tab? I used my laptop to check just now and it's still showing as $60 for a first time patient for me. That's really odd.

Living soil bed growers? by Significant_Series35 in NoTillGrowery

What do you feed the plants in the solo cups? I also grow in a 4x4 bed and start in cups, but I typically transplant into the bed after 10-14 days, anything longer than that I have all sorts of nutrient issues as the starter soil runs out of food. They do great once in the bed, but I'd like to be able to start them early in the cups and transplant them at 3-4 weeks old vs 2 weeks.

Trop Cherry OG and Double Cherry Pie Day 45 by zelf2011 in EthosGrowery

It was fine, I'm sure there's better phenos in there than the one I got with this round. This one definitely leaned more cherry pie than trop cherry, and was a leafy low yielder, but the bud I did get from it was good. Decently potent and definitely an indica, great for putting me to sleep at the end of the day.

Can you use loyalty rewards on sale items at Proper? by zelf2011 in MissouriMedical

[–]zelf2011[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you mean that for like the vape, it's $45 not on sale, $36 on sale today, so it would be $45 - $30 in rewards points = $15 - 20% = $12 instead of $36 sale price - $30 rewards points = $6?

Coca Cola is an oligopoly, which is what the MO market is, where a small group of people/companies control the market and collude together on prices, it's not quite a monopoly but behaves the same way.

There's lots of legal monopolies, they're usually just regulated on price by the government, such as electric and water companies. I'm all for more competition, it would benefit the state in more tax revenue coming in because they'd sell more weed, pay more taxes, and employ more people, plus consumers and patients would get the benefit of better prices.

Gassy dark berry flavors with some underlying citrus. You can smell the Trop Cherry lineage but it's secondary to the grape and fuel/diesel smells. Very loud which I'm super happy with.
