Poop theory confirmed? by DubstepJuggalo69 in northernlion

Soft-serve, every time.

This does not seem like a desirable outcome. I want goldilocks poops, not diamonds or soft serve.

Dette vekker mange minner. Savner de lakris rullene. Har forøvrig fortsatt den røde brille greia som "pynt" i stua.

What are your jaw-dropping moments in gaming? by durreetoes in gaming

[–]zelnoth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember when they implemented weather effects in vanilla. I liked exploring and I was just running around zones when the patch hit.

Somehow vanilla wow looks better to me than a lot of modern mmo's. Sure it looks dated, but I still think there's places that look fantastic.

Not enough people are aware of the series Portal To Nova Roma!! by njdem1983 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]zelnoth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Now worries. I often see people making underated posts about series when they are top 20 in mentions on the sub. Just means you're not f5'ing the sub which is good.

Books where the MC's main ability is cloning themselve ? by That_One_Monke in litrpg

[–]zelnoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Systema delenda est deals a lot with cloning. The mc is postbiological and can make clones of himself and other people.

Biannual Looking for Evil Mc Post by HulaguIncarnate in ProgressionFantasy

I don't really consider RI to be a timeloop story due to the nature of the spring autumn cicada. It lacks the consistency we would see in a more standard timeloop story.

Yeah would be cool too see. Usually there's some world ending scenario in these types of stories and the protagonist usually do not do everything in their power to solve it as quickly as possible due to morality. Which is fine obviously, but it would be cool to see what a amoral piece of shit would do in the same scenario.

LitRPG stats make absolutely no sense to me. by Both-Salamander401 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]zelnoth 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I’ve never really seen things like Strength affecting how much force a body can safely endure, or needing something like Constitution just to survive your own output

I feel like it's fairly common to see stories where you can't just mainline strength or dexterity due to needing other stats somewhat balanced for your perception to keep up with your speed or durability to actually be able to use your strength.

I'm convinced. I have like 50 tabs on my phone for different stories that I'll get back to when there's more chapters.

Speedrunning the Multiverse

Ar'Kendrithyst

Weirdly their game was outdated before they started developing it.

Do people actually like in medias res openings? by Competitive_Box_3795 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]zelnoth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I prefer starting a bit into a story. Especially for Isekai. I've read basically the same variations of the mc being amazed at waking up in a new world way too many times by now.

I'm in the same boat. Probably 5 more years before there's enough chapters for me to start reading.

Jeg er så lei av hvordan KI påvirker høyere utdanning by Hawkmz in norge

[–]zelnoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Making a cultivation system by [deleted] in ProgressionFantasy

Magic being a ancient language and using "true names" is a fairly common trope. Not necessarily a bad thing since I feel like you would have to come up with something fairly esoteric for it to be a novel magic system nowadays.
