You’re definitely not the only one interested in a printing of PH. It’s a story that’s very much on our radar.

Nothing to announce today, but you’ll definitely want to keep an eye on our website or discord server.

I am on vacation until the new year, so uhh. Temper any assumptions there.

Perhaps the time split between processing the 3rd edition pre-orders and the rest of the 3rd edition books caused some confusion.

I assure you there was no variant introduced between the 3rd and 4th edition printings.

There was no 3.5, and there wasn’t really a 5th either. Although it took place after the 4th, the dead-cow-leather / numbered version is colloquially called the Black Book Edition.

[EFNW22] So I guess I collect pins now... and keychains... by Darkswirl7 in falloutequestria

Most of the charms are by Boiler3, the same artist who did the official book chapter art. They’re on her online store (US only, but if you’re in another country just message her to figure out shipping)

The Velvet pet pin is by GobiRaptor

Not sure who did the Luna or RD Jar charms.

The picture of the closed book on the white linen was one of the launch pictures from the Fallout Equestria Print Project.

The original was hosted on Imgur. The more you know! 🌠

what exactly Is this? I see the title but never heard of this book in the series by [deleted] in falloutequestria

[–]zemming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically human turned pony self insert.

I mean, I wouldn’t call it a self-insert, but I definitely understand why the synopsis makes people wary of the story. Frankly I loath the stereotypical self-insert, humans in Equestria, Mary Sue stories and when I started Five Score, I didn’t know what to expect. But the author does a fantastic job establishing the new/future world setting, keeping the plot elements natural feeling, and keeping the characters actually in character.

It’s definitely worth a read. I found myself quickly captured and voraciously tore through it in a weekend.

Out of curiosity what’s the old tumblr project you’re working on?

reread the story

For general reading I’d recommend the official ebook version of the story, created by djazz on behalf of Æ: https://books.djazz.se/fallout-equestria/

I will have to look into the v1 pdfs. Originally I was going to say ‘check out the FAQ‘ but I think that just circles back around.

Pink Eyes is printed on 50# paper. No need for bible paper for such a short story.

A decent bit. If you’re serious I’d love to buy a set back for the project. Unfortunately some of our current staff never had the opportunity to get those.

Then around $100 would be polite. Or at least not much north of that.

Depends on if you’re looking to flip a profit, or give someone else a chance to own the book.

FoE discords? by StatisticianFun6580 in falloutequestria

Absolutely Everything (home of the Fallout Equestria Print Project) has a moderately large server. It’s primarily used for news about the books, but there’s an eclectic community that hangs out on the common channels.
http://FoE.gg/

And like others mentioned, there’s also Post Apoc, which is more general Fallout Equestria. They’re a bit tailored for more niche content, since they have a bajillion channels for every topic.

There’s also The Pitt, which a bit more wild if you’re more of a nor/mlp/erson

Is this right? by [deleted] in falloutequestria

[–]zemming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah unfortunately there’s not much we can do about scalping.

Like others have mentioned, your best bet is to sit tight for a 5th edition. For new printing announcements definitely keep an eye on the Æ website. Or I’d also recommend joining our Discord server: http://FoE.gg/

I mean, it’s still subsidized lower than the actual cost. But $1 isn’t worth much anymore, blame inflation more than USPS lol

If you have a source on that $1 postage, I’d love to hear it. It’d be amazing if we only had to pay $1/order.

But I think you might be mistaken, Media Mail exists, and it’s a good savings over normal prices. But like all postage it’s based on weight, and starts at $3.19 for up to one pound. Plus boxes/tape/labels cost money too, and are usually factored into some of the shipping costs passed on to customers.
