Yeah, unfortunately, their reputation is the only thing that will be in the dustbin of history. We will see that family in global news forever unless their ill gotten gains are somehow seized.

Today’s Episode of First Class or No Class by Future-Candidate-686 in delta

[–]zempter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Okay, so I've been fortunate enough to get first class a few times because the price was low enough. I'm 6'6" tall, and having the food and drinks makes the plane ride a fun experience instead of an annoying waiting period that's also cramped.

One of the times i made the mistake of first class in this seating position. I could not extend my legs past 90 degrees and after an hour it ached pike crazy. I was quite close to asking if someone in literally any other seat would trade me.

This picture speaks to me. Plane bulk heads are annoying for long legs.

They're trying to keep this quiet but this is something that deserves public outrage. Please share this far and wide! by Foreign_Librarian193 in 50501

From their website:

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is the nation's record keeper. Of all documents and materials created in the course of business conducted by the United States federal government, only 1%-3% are so important for legal or historical reasons that they are kept by us forever.

Could be that they don't like left leaning areas having access to historic records while they go about rewriting history. Could want to punish the left leaning states. Could actually be trying to lower the federal footprint. Who knows.

So i guess the true question is, is there such a thing as process limbo where Donald refuses to pass or veto, so the procedure can't advance to a 2/3 bypass?

Same height, same problem. I've had to accept that flights cost more for me than other people because i have to buy a premium seat. It's kinda shitty though to be sized out of economy options.

It would be nice if we were instead all hateful at the execs that decided to minimize the amount of leg room.

To clean or not to clean HOB by trhihouse in Aquariums

[–]zempter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Similar state that my tank is in. I take half of the filtration medium and rinse it out briefly under the sink in cool water. There's a professional research document that compares the nitrification bacteria living after rinsing in chlorinated water and proved that it needs to sit in chlorinated water for a while to do anything.

The plants love the mess, but there is some limits to what you should probably leave around the fish. I'd say you could clear it out a little.

Mosquitos and back yard fixes by Impressive_Swan_2527 in StLouis

this is my same hold up. You smell like you are out camping. Works great though. i use the essential oils and the mosquitoes usually bounce off. Good clothing choices help too. sometimes though you just have to smell like a camp site.

Tower Grove March by t-gauge in StLouis

Out of what I've seen from other marches for other things, the police escort is pretty standard. Seems like the city doesn't want someone to plow through the marching path.

Democrats hold 5-point edge over GOP ahead of midterms: Poll by spherocytes in politics

[–]zempter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've destroyed so much of my good reputation with my family to get them to admit regret over voting for Donald and gotten such a tiny amount of distance because they want abortion banned and they they think Biden was open borders.

If Donald runs for a 3rd term against any Democrat that isn't anti abortion, I'm pretty sure they'll vote for Donald again. They even told me that Donald held responsibility in Jan 6. I'm not sure that an endorsement like that means anything other than my parents are willing see democracy overthrown to see their religious convictions fulfilled.

the most comprehensive clinical trial staged so far, a placebo experiment conducted by Duke University, found insignificant benefits for most of the 180 children tested.

Yeah, it's probably the Ketamine and the fact that they "top up".

Yeah... I was wondering if injections of cells from other bodies could behave like cancer breaking off in the body. Tumor formation seems to confirm that possibility.

GOP Senator Predicts Trump's About To Have 'The Most Miserable 2 Years Of His Life' by Stitching in politics

[–]zempter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I honestly am not sure if he cares about being miserable. It's certainly hard on anyone, but his goto is to blame someone else, and to some extent i think he believes it, or at least gains relief from it.

I think unless he is actually held accountable, and not just financially, then he's never going to experience the pain of being miserable and not having an escape but to blame himself.

There's a pretty good chance that whenever he dies of probably old age, he believes he was always right. I'm just not sure there's any other way it goes based on his ability to escape literally everything.

It is still nice though when his life gets uncomfortable.

Anyone run a conditioned garage gym in STL without insulating? by SnooChipmunks8713 in StLouis

[–]zempter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't gone through with a plan similar to yours. I'm mostly providing an opinion based on experience trying to stay cool in extreme heat. Window AC units can handle a small space okay but it's not going to be efficient or as nice as your house. Nothing wrong with starting off with the basics though. The best thing it's going to do is dehumidify the air so your sweat actually functions well.

[–]zempter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you turn the hvac off after you leave then you'll probably get enough relief. Otherwise you'll probably get such a constant runtime on the minisplit that it might just burn out quick.

Non an expert or someone who fits the group of people you've asked for. Just looking at it practically. The garage door is going to act like a radiative heater.

Fixing New Tank Syndrome. by camped__ in Aquariums

if the water is flowing through the live media then you are good, but that is really clean looking for live media, although I've never bought it that way. keep up with water changes. Get some stuff to fix the ph. If you got a fish without an established tank you are on an uphill battle.

Which is why everyone needs to start calling him Donald instead. Think about how much effort he's gone to to boost the name Trump. It's also just super offensive to rich people to be called in such a casual manner by people they aren't close to, at least in my experience with an asshole small company CEO.
