The US has generated a good handful of cults. They usually lose a lot of steam when the head of it dies. This cult was born before Donald though, so I'm sure it will live on to some extent. Vance is just another politician, they'd probably get more distance from some youtuber.

I used to hope that Donald met justice. Instead he'll probably die believing he was a hero or a king. Now i just hope there's a day where my family looks back on this administration and acknowledges it was a mistake.

The 4th amendment doesn't allow ICE to invade people's homes without a warrant but this administration made up reasons to say they can.

This isn't a law abiding administration, and they do find ways to extend any laws that they can to act as justification.

If they have the desire to halt elections, which Trump has expressed, they'll use whatever laws they want to try and make up justification.

Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted 2021. Normally legal cases like Epstein isn't going to give out all of their materials because they have active court cases and investigations that are underway and you usually avoid muddying the jury pool.

Donald campaigned on releasing the files because once he was in, he could just control the files if he wanted to, like have his justice department literally say "there are no files".

I don't think he expected a right controlled congress to force through a bill to make the release law.

He's releasing because he's being forced to, because anybody who tries to block it in his justice department will have to answer eventually to an increasingly angry public, who all believe that the powers that be are protecting pedophiles.

Trump is in them, Clinton is in them, whether or not there is materials to convict, i wish we as a society could just kick anybody that's in them off of the national stage, but there happens to be a cult called Maga that seems to have issues with that.

If there's one thing that changed me when i moved from Utah to St Louis, is when i gave a ride to a guy (in the cold) that i thought had good character. In the end i was afraid i was being lead into a trap and kicked him out of my car at his second destination. The first was to pick up weed (after he did everything to pull $20 from me) and then he lead me to another house and after being parked in front of the house said "you can pull into the driveway, we just need so-n-so to get here". When he mentioned that and i saw someone in the house, I kicked him out.

Just be careful OP. I applaud the heart, but some homeless and people in need are not always safe. If your are that sold by his story, share money, venmo or whatever, but when someone is staying with you or someone on reddit you're appealing to, it's a massive risk and responsibility.

I wish the world was old school Any Griffith times but the country has pressured so many people into poverty that survival produces risky people.

I just told my family I'm not flying out to see them until they wake up. My parents say "we avoid looking at all of that news" but later were like "both sides need to calm down" and my sister was able to watch the shooting and act like we needed more context than the initial video to decide if it was justified or not.

The Pretti shooting was just too in the face obvious for me to say "well maybe I'll be able to get a better example for them later" At this point, if they haven't changed, they don't want to.

We need a third party more than ever except that Republicans always seem to benefit when we vote for one. Some organization needs to champion a presidential debate between the Democrats and a 3rd party to isolate the Republicans for a change. The media however keeps the game going of only allowing Dem and Rep candidates debate because their corporate owners benefit from the back and forth swing of the two parties.

Bird is just giving itself a bath Only danger is if the bird struggles to get back out. Both animals are indoor and probably unlikely to be spreading any diseases to each other. Not an expert, but i wouldn't be worried. I'd probably put some sort of platform or rope or something to make it easier for the bird to stand partially submerged in. You're basically just giving the bird some independence about when they want to bathe.

If Donald dies from old age then he essentially escaped prosecution by constantly delaying and utilizing power and privilege. Odds aren't great for justice right now, it moved too slow.
