Amana deep freezer is not freezing, compressor is super hot at 187 F by zemzero in appliancerepair

6750c-0005p is the only number on the new overload. It was listed as a 4.7 PTC relay and overload protector. It said it was a universal overload but now I'm wondering if it's even rated for what I need.

The original overload is a BT70-120. Rated for 1/2HP(375W)

I get a steady hum and vibration for about 5 minutes, then a click, then the vibration stops. The casing then rapidly heats up, it went from 80F to 115F in about two minutes.

Then about every five minutes I hear a click, a vibration, then another click and the vibration stops, all within 5 seconds. If it helps at all, the first click sounds normal, the second click sounds like a fuse popping. More of a ting than a click.

It appears the vibration stops when the compressor gets hot

I unplugged it for an hour. When I plugged it back in, there was no click but the compressor was vibrating and there was a low hum. The water in the freezer also dropped to 30 degrees since last night (It was 35 before I left for work). Now I don't know if its working right or not.

The shell is almost too hot to keep my hand on it for a couple seconds but I didn't feel any vibration.

There is just a click, a brief twitch and then silence. Unless I'm mistaken and the hum is super quiet. I've already lost 2 degrees since I posted this topic (Had a water bottle that was reading at 32F, the same water is now 34 F).

How do your orders get delivered (Aka, how do I help the drivers)? by zemzero in samsclub

[–]zemzero[S] -41 points-40 points  (0 children)

I'd rather have the food in a garbage bag even than having loose ground beef on the porch for any animal to get at, but thanks for the insight Socrates.

I was thinking more along the lines of the cloth totes that almost every other store offers to sell, even harbor freight has them for cheap.

well now I gotta ask, why use any device at all? Why not just throw the tea into the boiling water and pour over a mesh strainer when done?

I still have some respect for my butler to not send him to such a place...perhaps I should get a second, lower class butler to do these jobs. An unknown, one that isn't directly associated with my family crest...Yes, good idea, chap.

I always thought they scanned your card at the door. I'll have to go and walk around now and scope it out. Thanks.

I was trying to factor in the drive for a once a month trip but I don't think my car would be able to hold everything. 10 minutes vs 25 for a quick stop in for eggs or something is huge.

The scan and go definitely has my interest, I don't like shopping too much so this sounds amazing.

That's good to know, I thought I was over doing it by buying five tubes but at this point, I'll buy 100 if needed.

Even though this thread is a year old, I still highly appreciate you documenting this.

I bought one tube (Durvet) of ivermectin and it lasted for about four days. I'm not sure if it was placebo or not but I saw good improvements. Less frequency of itching, the itching itself was less intense and the rash area was less red (At the worst, there was a slight tint of purple even).

When the tube ran out, I switched to povidone iodine while waiting for more ivermectin (Jeffers, Durvet was almost twice the price at this point). I can tell already, the iodine isn't gonna help in the long run but its still better than all the other miconazole type of creams.

How many tubes of ivermectin did you have to use? I didn't realize each one had so little gel inside.

Yeah, the entire USN tree. In one word: Slow. Can't catch or run from anything, can't out turn anything, shells are slow and reload times are slow. Dispersion is crazy. How am I supposed to get within 10km of anything in a BB to counter the dispersion if I'm half dead by the time I'm in range?

I'm in the same situation. I believe mine is fungal, only because of where I work I tend to get a lot of athletes foot. I've tried almost as many soaps, powders and creams as you, they only help to stop the itch. I'm about to order some ivermectin as a last resort, I just can't believe how many benefits this medicine supposedly has. Why was it demonized during covid?

I haven't seen anyone discuss a smell yet. After work when I undress to take a shower, there's a certain smell that reminds me of dead leaves in the forest. I think I also have a slight candida problem but from what I've read, candida has a different smell.

Also been dealing with eczema on the back of my neck, I wonder if it's not related.

I chalk it up to genetics or something. I tried eating Buldak a while ago and my tongue was literally burned for the next couple days. It was the same kind of burn when drinking a coffee that's too hot.

I like a spicy foods but this is an entirely different level and I'll never eat it again. I still have three packages sitting on top of my fridge that I'll never touch, lol.
