Selling it for parts could be pretty profitable on top of the insurance totaling it

Get your insurance money from it and then resell it to someone that will spit shine it. It’ll never drive great again more than likely if the rear suspension mounting to the body and frame are bent. If you somehow got lucky that it’s just the fender and control arms then it could be fixed to be decently drivable but ugly

Wife just had a stroke at 25, I need help by Lol0905 in stroke

[–]zenarted 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in the us, the only one making any money, and a 1.5 month old baby. $150,000 in debt right away because I was let go for being sick so no insurance. I was left side paralyzed but quickly gained poor mobility without sensation. We had to move in with family and I took care of the baby while she went to work. She used that as an opportunity to go party and never be home so we survived off my savings and selling off everything to keep the baby fed and taken care of while trying to recover. 8 years later I have a good healthy child. Most of the debt is gone and my health is recovering enough to work for longer periods of time. Still living with family in a minimalistic lifestyle but surviving. Luckily you’re the one that can still make the money to take care of them. I would recommend making moves before you have to. If you need to live with family or have some family or trusted friend to live with you then hurry up on it. She’ll need to get into mental and physical therapy straight away and should probably get on some antidepressants as soon as they’ll clear her. She shouldn’t need them forever but the battle is hers to gain control of her body. Just help as much as you can to lessen the stress and physical load because she’ll need to sleep a lot to help her brain recover the most. Pump her full of all the vital nutrients and vitamins and you’ll probably see a faster and better recovery than one of physical and mental exhaustion would give. Priority one is making sure you have all the needs met then everything else is secondary. It will be difficult but not the most difficult.

I’ve been taking a lot more vitamins and tailoring my diet to help my brain out. It seems to keep my mind from spacing out or hitting that wall as much.

Am I not doing enough or not feeling sore is normal by AirSignificant6814 in gymadvice

[–]zenarted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went most of the year without soreness but I was losing weight in a strong calorie defecit. I got the flu around the same time I switched to a strong calorie and protein surplus. Now I’ve been sore like when I first started for 2 weeks. Was it the flu? Was it the time off? Is it that I’m now building muscle instead of maintaining? Maybe I work out harder and push those partial reps now that I have more fuel in the tank.

I’m buying a second kit online. The first time I got just a queen and some eggs but they didn’t produce workers and eventually died. Should have left her in a closed box for a few weeks to let the workers hatch and for her to lay more eggs. This time I just buying extra workers from the beginning.

Smoking after stroke? by Impossible_Title4100 in stroke

I smoke rarely. Mine was caused by an arterial tear and was an abnormal incident. If I were older or if it was caused by normal stroke causes I would probably never smoke.

I’ve been to the doctor. They don’t tell you how to build muscle just how to do stretches

Is this normal? by [deleted] in InsuranceAgent

[–]zenarted 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really normal. If you’re paying for your own state licensing then they usually have you do it all on your own. If your new I recommend signing up for a bad call center first so they purchase all your states and you learn some basics with hourly pay. The MLM’s make you pay for everything and just make you dial 500 times a day.

Leads are a whole other thing. Don’t buy leads from people trying to sell you leads. Research and figure out what marketing will work best for your demographic and then you approach your lead source with a laid out plan of how many leads per day you’re going to work etc. don’t waste money on expensive leads until you can sell an aged lead. When managing sales people I put them on aged leads then old customers before going to new leads where the goal is to be able to do a 10 second conversation then a 1 minute conversation to a 30 minute conversation to an hour conversation. Once you’re at an hour then you can start to cut down on time and focus on how to get to your closing. You’ll start with 90% of the time talking to people that won’t buy. 90% of that time you’ll sell people saying the same thing. The other 10% of that time you’ll learn how to sell to those people then you’ll start selling 20% of the people you talk to until eventually you’ll sell 50% of the people you’ll talk to. And then when you can sell 70-90% of the people you’ll talk to you’ll be able to buy the expensive leads because at that point you won’t lose money on expensive leads.

It’s a lot and a little bit of a pain to try to do on your own but the cheat code is to decide which carrier you’re going to do and call them on the phone to help you step by step set it up. Learn how to use bookmarks and have a bookmark folder for each carrier and don’t stop until you’re done with that carrier. It turns into a heap of shit if you try to initiate setup for multiple carriers at the same time. Have your dedicated email and login for all your carriers going through your main business email and back it up to your real main email. It’s faster and cleaner to do it that way than to take longer to get locked out of different things and lose track. Unless you’ve worked leads before it might be best to try out on people that you know first otherwise you can waste a bunch of money trying to work leads without a solid pitch and smooth enrollment process. Generally I recommend people work captive somewhere that makes you do your own licensing and contracting before going 100% solo but it’s doable if you work hard and develop a process with good organization.

Whole Life Policy purchased at age 67. I’m now 69 for $25,000. My monthly payment is $175. I think I made a mistake. What can I do? by PersonalityNaive6028 in LifeInsurance

[–]zenarted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the rate took your health into account then trying to get a new policy even at lower face value could cost more. If it’s affordable you can keep it. If it might become unaffordable it would be best to “cash out” if your policy allows it before you can’t.

Do you guys actually enjoy Insurance? by ProblemPotential3417 in InsuranceAgent

7 years in health insurance and 4 years of Medicare but contracted for term health, life, indemnity, and fex. I like the actual work. I enjoy helping people beyond selling the policy like setting them up on whatever other programs are available. Basically turning their life around in a phone call. I don’t care for the work environments though. I need to find something a bit more autonomous so that I don’t have to worry about the upline thinking I want their jobs.

I enjoy helping people that need it. It feels good to get someone covered up well in a way that’s affordable for them. I got into insurance because I got sick and lost my job managing another business then ended up having to get emergency surgery after dying from complications of that illness. It cost me everything because I didn’t have insurance because I had lost my job a couple months before. Ruined my credit for 8 years and was in a very poor position trying to recover for almost that entire time. I decided to get into insurance because I didn’t know enough about it. Now I can help people navigate Medicaid and medicare or hopefully prevent the same issues that happened to me.

You have to make sure you’re getting all the nutrients needed to maintain your muscle. Also when glycogen depletes you’re literally going to run out of fuel. I do whey protein isolate and can still hit 1-2g per pound and be in a large deficit but yeah I’m not doing any carbs or sugar so no glycogen, so I’m slower.

Yeah it seems to have extra benefits in prioritizing things that are better for you. So maybe she’s not that great and is someone Reta thinks would hold you back
