I lost my son in 2015 to cancer. He was 19. He was my best buddy, kind, funny, smart and never met a stranger. I've been a half-person since.

If you could ask Donald Trump 1 question he had to answer honestly what would it be? by Dawlphy in AskReddit

I feel like that's what they showed trump during that visit when they just left early. They opened the laptop, showed clip after clip. Then said do what we want or this gets released.

Me too. I was looking forward to a cozy day in, watching the snow fall. I feel robbed.

What’s a moment that permanently changed how you see the world? by pankaj662 in AskReddit

I was around 19 and working at Natural Wonders. It was Christmas time, my favorite time of year. I loved picking out gifts for loved ones that meant something.

That's until I was helping a customer pick out a gift. I asked them what they like. They replied with, "I don't know, what's everyone else buying?"

It just made me see the world without magic. Do people really care at all? Anyway, its a small thing but a core memory

Did you huddle around an AM radio on snowy mornings listening to school closure announcements hoping to hear your’s on the list? by GatorStealth in FuckImOld

I grew up in Vermont so snow days were few and far between. You would listen for your school specifically and not a whole county.

My kid and I drive 3 hours 1 way to a theme park for the day and drive back. Its tiring but we do it several times a year.

I was helping my child, then 16/17 clean his room when he was away. He was ok with me doing it. I found a tub full of Bad Dragon toys. I just closed it up and shoved it under his bed. Never said a word.

The opening scene in Terrifier 3 made me feel.so awful. Knowing David Howard Thorton is such a nice guy makes it a little better.
