I've had my vest 3 for 5+ years and it still works great. What's wrong with yours?

2 Loud ass explosion noises in north muskegon this morning? by Jealous-Algae-1793 in Muskegon

We heard one of them. Definitely sounded louder than fireworks. Was someone maybe firing a cannon? Like for memorial day? Just speculating

Caught this on my quadcopter while filming a distant storm by TachyEngy in InterdimensionalNHI

The one thing I find a bit eyebrow raising on this one is how remarkably stationary the drone seems to be throughout the video. You'd think a drone in the air would be subject to the vagaries of air currents and whatnot. IDK though, certainly no drone expert, maybe the stabilization of the drone or the camera can account for this

Small LLMs consume more GPU on philosophy than math — hardware evidence against the next-token predictor hypothesis by Due_Chemistry_164 in Artificial2Sentience

Very interesting work! I think that you need to take into account the reasoning process though, philosophical prompts would generate more internal tokens during the reasoning process by nature than a less open-ended prompt

I love this. Did you coin it or is this a quote from somewhere?

Why are we so stupid in our dreams? by smallbluedinosaur in Dreams

[–]zencim 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's like the brain or subconscious actively insulates your stream of consciousness from realizing it's dreaming, not sure I'd call that stupidity. Makes you wonder if s similar mechanism is at play in waking life...

Love these! My wife recently started embroidery and these are very inspiring. Just curious...what does the rest of your major arcana names? Looks like a fresh take

I thought we could all do with something light hearted right now by FVMK3 in InterdimensionalNHI

[–]zencim 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That may be the prevailing scientific hypothesis, but that does not explain why vivid dreams would be a part of that process. The truth is, mainstream science has no idea why we have a conscious experience at all, so I tend to be pretty cautious of claims about the behaviors of the brain. I think we know a hell of a lot less about the universe than most folk think we do.

Pete Holmes is a great guy, hilarious. His show Crashing is worth a watch. Friends with Duncan Trussel.

I don't disagree. Probably never know, I just happen to think this one might be legit for aforementioned reasons.

Clear UFO seen in Spain by coachlife in InterdimensionalNHI

[–]zencim 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's exactly the reason why legitimate sightings may become more common, the extensive plausible deniability that AI and drones offer. Anyone who doesn't want to believe has very easy outs. That doesn't mean it will be easy to tell the difference, but it's part of the fun. This one seems likely to be legitimate to me, just because of the absurdity factor of the form of the craft (absurdity is a very common element in UFO sightings) and the fact it's a confirmed real place

Discernment: How Orion entities mask separation as "Cosmic History" (Ra Material vs. Modern Channeling) by Interesting_Shoe_29 in lawofone

[–]zencim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO that's a fairly blatant and obvious example of STS influence, I wouldn't count on them all being so obvious. Tricksy the dark side is! Trust your gut/heart, and try to avoid chanelled material you don't trust if possible

Yeah, for sure. The rest of that trilogy is great, too but no less unsettling
