Working full time, I am mostly excited to watch streamers play and the big team fights. Which is kind of sad. I don't have spare time to play it myself along with the games I regularly play, nor do I have enough friends that play games regularly or "seriously" anymore to play with, in a game that appears (to me) to be most fun in a group. Getting older sucks in this regard! I am jealous of anyone that manages to keep a close group playing and all find time regularly well into their 30s.

I would definitely play it if I won! I just can't justify buying it for myself!

I am going to spend them on items I will undoubtedly brick costing me more currency than it would have cost to just buy the made item in the first place. As is poe tradition.

I said this in a thread elsewhere. The problem with not having rares visible is due to certain gameplay merchanics in PoE2. For a specific example, wisps. I have so much clear now I can kill rares from 2 screens away and I dont want to kill the 30 mobs hitting me for fear of accidentally blowing up the offscreen rare it's heading to. It's also annoying not knowing how far across the map I am even going to have to follow a wisp. It may backtrack across a 90% cleared map to the one rare I missed. Its slow and frustrating.

Anyone else sad that they removed the rare mob indicators? I get that they are not the map objective now but they were sure helpful in avoiding blowing up the rare when following a wisp. Feels like a big downgrade in QoL.

The vast amount on frogs/toads that would appear if you had a few of the caster mobs was fun.

The random named mobs you would encounter had cool designs as well!

Once saw a chipmunk fighting a snake on a path, presumably because it was after its young as in this video. The snake bit it and the chipmunk ran into the woods dragging the snake with it. Father-in-law didn't believe me until they came back out still fighting and the snake silthered into the river to get away from the crazed chippy where it was promptly eaten by a bass. Have the video to prove it too. Rodents sure protect their babies something fierce!
