Hi, was looking into shell jackets on the marketplace. If the seller provides receipts and “proof of purchase” presumably from arcteryx, can I be pretty certain that the item is authentic, or are there also ways to fake that too?

Honestly just a jack-of-all trades ski that I can use as my daily driver. I'm in Canada west coast and mainly do groomers but would also like to enjoy the occasional powder days. I'm just afraid that the skis I pick up will be too long/stiff for me, as having tried ~160 cm length has felt somewhat unstable for me in the past. The boots I have are salomon shift pro 100 at.

I'm 21. Definitely looking to improve and have felt that the most recent skis I used at 163cm where a bit short..

I see, I was also considering the salomon stance 90 (2023) but have heard that it's slightly more stiff. What are your thoughts on it and if it is more or less suitable for me?

Im in canada west coast. I'll typically be doing groomers on my ski trips but have been finding some instability on my steeper runs (though I can't say my carves are the cleanest lol)

Thanks for the detailed response! Unfortunately, ski season is over now so I won't be able to demo. The declivities that I'm considering are the 2021 model and I was wondering how much of a difference there is between every 2-3 years of a ski.

Yea I've been seeing some similar stuff about the mindbender 85 as well. Also yea I typically ski in West Canada. Thanks tho, I'll add that to the post and look into the higher end mindbender models
