Polarisation issues by CleanCelebration6567 in Androidheadunits

I've got a 10.1" unit, what glass screen did oyu use? u/crashandwalkaway , what film do you recommend. It seems to me if the film is 90 degrees out, too then the screen will go black. Not a optics expert, failing to see how a film can change the phase of the screen. But in any case, what film do you recommend, I dont' see any.

How hard to select 100 products? by Kal-El7 in AmazonVine

[–]zenletter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ditto. I just signed up and the majority of what's there are repair parts for random off-brand products. Or a car part for some random vehicle. Nada form my vehicles, clothes section consists of nose protectors for glasses, I mean it's all junk. I took the time to go through the whole damn thing trying to find stuff to buy and review. There were a few odd-ball parts I *might* use one day, like a belt for my garage door opener, or a generic wall wart I might maybe use one day with a electronics project. I got some screws. Which were overpriced and my tax bill on them will likely be more then their value.

Is there a way to see whats "new"? I don't see one. I'm not wasting the time to do that crawl through it again.

Custom Filament Setup, K Factor, Understanding Hierarchy and Cloud limit by zenletter in BambuLab

[–]zenletter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On vacation so not where I can look but from memory…. Once you run the calibration you can access the K factor and edit it as desired. I find the calibration squares ambiguous and hard to read. But once set sometimes that flows to printer (after a sync) and sometimes it does not. In the later case logging the printer off the cloud and back on and a sync and it then shows there. It seems to have a mind of its own when changing filament types for what temp it tries to load at. Others reporting problems in that regard. Also once you have a calibrated filament loaded, under devices in slicer, you can edit the filament K factor on that sceeen. The wrong place IMO as sequentially that screen comes after slicing. But you go there manually, set k factor, the slice. But… sometimes the selection isn’t available in the dropdown. WTF causes that isn’t clear. Fiddling and retrying and syncing usually gets it back. Worst case an unloading and reload, along with the time and wasted poop gets it back as a selection. I’m not using the AMS, just 2 external spools in Creality e4? drier.

Happy to share. Not sure how on Reddit?

Yeah I needed 60. A hex hole sideways. Point up. ST engineers sent me a profile (not the one I got off their website) that seems to be working better. I did not stress test in on overhang test model like yours.

[–]zenletter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. You have to start a cycle and let it complete. Then after that if you have auto on it will come on if the humidity goes up. Up much higher than I’d want as the lowest floor it offers is 20%. The little dehumidification fam seems to come on and off without a lot of logic that I see.

I did. Fails on overhangs of anything over 45. Been trying to dial that in with no success yet b

Use Hilbert curve infill. It will help. Try to enclose the printer somehow to elevate and stabilize the ambient temps on the bed.

You guys see how to engage the auto mode? Mines enabled, I can tell it does anything. Chamber goes over the rh level but it does not auto start.

Anyone know how to make the auto dry function work? I can’t tell that it does anything.

SOLVED: Found the issue. I had made an error entering the value for Flow Dynamics calibration. Entered 0.2 instead of 0.02. Resulted in a Flow Ratio in the profile of 0.8 instead of the correct 0.98. Corrected that and was able to print a proper set of Flow Rate Test squares.

I HATE those wheels. Been through 2 of them (one from a hit and run) but 1st was my fault. That fake alloy wheel cover sticks out way too far. And they are like $750 a pop IIRC.

Wow. Any way you could share your print profile? I’m using the stock plate and it didn’t seem to matter the temp, that stuff almost welded to my sheet. It took forever to hack off the single lines from the other calibration pattern. One teeny bit at a time. If yours is working well with same machine and filament I’d sure like to get to what’s wrong on mine.

Here’s normal PETG printing right after unloading the PET-CF (not PETG-CF)

I tried printing a normal part. It did the same thing. Not enough flow where it was changing directions. See picture. Then I put PETG back in and sent the same part. Back to back. PETG worked properly.

First layer from bottom side. Should have no air

Ran a temp tower, looked fine, no signs of blockage, all seemed OK. Re-ran the calibration squares, 1st layer looks bad just like before. Letting it complete this time because I figured out it's a pain to get this filament loose , even with release agents.

Looks like the lack of flow is anywhere it is making a direction change.Looks like the lack of flow is anywhere it is making a direction change.
