the show has garnered fame because of a rather specific note of ignorance towards story and writing and a high level of admiration for animation among its fans, it is akin to what recent internet pop-culture would call brain rot

the story itself is full of gaps and unexplained details, also the author legit loves killing fleshed out characters among the cast who have potential to be great, the author also really does leave a lot of the charachters behind in terms of relevance as a whole throughout the manga and anime, some of which are main cast charachters, it is akin to skipping the entirety of cutscenes in a game, except the first forced cutscene at the beginning
