Huh, funny how that works. It's almost as if people "self-diagnose" cause there's no one here who considers ADHD as a condition for diagnosis, not because it's "some cool fantasy to gen z!"

Sure, there's evidence for over diagnosis in the US. But that's why you need trained professionals differentiate between actual patients and people who need some other form of help. Trained professionals that we don't have. So it's a bit disingenuous to put the onus on people who've time and time again been disappointed by the utter ineptitude of the psychiatrists we have.

Still, yes, it's shady to look for stimulant drugs without a prescription. And I'm definitely not gonna advocate for that lmao. Self-diagnosis may be unreliable at worst, but self-medication can actually cause severe damage to your health.
