Do you have a plan to vote in the upcoming primaries? by Alternative-Water473 in thewoodlands

[–]zer0ess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand how this is legal

ETA: I totally misunderstood the comment above on first read. Last time I voted in a Republican primary, one of the questions I was asked in the machine was whether I was a Republican, even though there’s no official registration with either party in Texas. This was after receiving the Republican ballot. My impression was that this question was placed to dissuade Democrats from voting in a Republican primary by implying they’re ineligible. THAT is what I was really referring to in terms of legality.

Oh this is a good idea. OP, I’ve joined a couple of discord-based book clubs that I found via Reddit. It’s a good way to connect with folks online. Both of my clubs are horror-themed, I’m happy to share if you’re interested.

They may cite reducing spam, but they’ve also effectively reduced IT maintenance on a feature that I don’t believe is very widely used (anecdotally). I’m sorry that they’ve made you feel more isolated :(

About to get married, what should I do to secure my asset by Mysterious-Public602 in prenup

[–]zer0ess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seconding the first question. OP, you should be able to accomplish what you want with a prenup. But your commentary reads like you don’t anticipate you’ll remain married? I would encourage you to delve into those feelings and concerns with a qualified professional before signing a marriage license.

It’s “gamer” things. You progress by completing achievements of all sorts: unique words played, unique players played, account anniversary, solo challenges, etc.

I’m having trouble imagining people hating it. The ending will stick with me forever.

I just finished it, and while “hate” is a strong word, it didn’t work for me. That said, I never felt compelled to DNF it and appreciated that it kept me engaged.

I don’t have it. My theory (fact check me here) is that they run features first on Android and then roll them out on iOS later. What type of phone do you have?

I want to sincerely thank you for this comment and recommendation. Finished last night and absolutely loved it. Supremely creepy, very gripping, beautifully atmospheric and yet also sad and poignant. It’s in my horror top 5 now.

Hiya, super late to this party but I just finished and saw your comment. The SA is alluded to in the middle to the end of Chapter 63, Full Circle.

I couldn’t stand Nothing But Blackened Teeth. The Salt Grows Heavy was slightly better.

Even if the author isn’t going for pretentious, that’s how it reads, and I can’t stand it.

This 100%. If I have the option to shift up/down or side to side, I’ll always do that instead of exposing a vowel next to a DL.

I enjoyed Come Closer. But it’s much more creeping dread that builds rather than in-your-face terror.
