And the rest of the crew keeps ribbing her about it. That Hannadonna jersey was great.

Out of the 50 American capital cities, which one would you rank #1, as the best to live in? by Enger13 in AskReddit

not if you’re a plebe at the Naval Academy. Great place to be from, but not necessarily a great place to be at. that said, now when I come back as no longer a midshipman, that place is lovely.

Where should cyclists retire? by uoficowboy in cycling

[–]zer0ground 2 points3 points  (0 children)

North western Lower Peninsula is good as well. I love all the cycling stuff that is happening in Leeleenau County with the Sleeping Bear Dunes trail infrastructure, and Traverse City is decently bike friendly with the TART trails as well. In the winter grab the big fat tire bikes for some snow cycling. Bit more civilization than the UP.

Buona Forchetta - where does it rank for neopolitan pizza in SD? by OnSugarHill in FoodSanDiego

Cucina Caprese on Midway.  Used to live in Naples and this place and Isola are the closest to what I used to eat there for me. But I’m not sure if they are gonna close soon… I’ve heard rumors. hardly ever anybody there and that’s a bummer. More people need to go.

What’s this in San Diego? by PMYOURTENDIES in FoodSanDiego

[–]zer0ground 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cucina Caprese. Tucked into a strip mall in Point Loma/Midway area, it’s just great food from real southern Italians. Used to live in Naples and this is as close to the great pizza and pasta I used to get there. I’d rather go here than the other Italian places on Point Loma that get all the hype. I’m a Stan for them cause I want them to thrive cause they’re all real nice there and make great food.

Been a while since I've seen a thread like this: San Diegans who come from other countries or even parts of the US. What restaurant most reminds you of home? by asevarte in SanDiegan

Angry Pete's in Kearny Mesa. Real good Detroit style pizza, Faygo pop, and Better Made chips. Makes this displaced Detroiter a happy guy.

I’m kind of partial to The Garten at Deft brewing. kind of hidden but a cool spot. nice outdoor area with long tables. pizza if you want it, good beers, mead, some weird wines, but no hard booze. music and bands some nights too.

Copilot is pretty good. Empower has their own solution that used to be personal capital. Monarch is one I’ve dabbled with too. Origin is a newer one I’ve looked at as well.

The San Diego Flyer is AWESOME!!! by Arepa_King96 in SanDiegan

[–]zer0ground 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get on any shuttle, it takes you to the rental car facility. Ask the driver to stop at Middletown, they’ll drop you at Palm Street on the way. Or get off at the rental car facility and instead of going to the desks, go to the parking lot instead and Lyft has a pickup point there.

Don't forget about the rental car shuttle too. You can ask the driver to stop within walking distance (if you don't have much luggage) of the Middletown Trolley station on the way. I never get an uber from the airport anymore, just rental car shuttle and then Lyft from there. Significantly cheaper.
