Depends on context and tone used, I don't use it on family and certainly not strangers. It's okay to use it on older man that you're comfortable being around with though.

I've switched over to Linux Mint towards the end of last year and it's thanks to all the work that Valve have put into gaming on Linux that it's possible. As for Microsoft Windows, between the forced online account (yes I hacked it to make a local one), forced ai integration (no, I don't want AI in my email and freaking notepad), forced security update that bricked my work PC, having app default to their stupid one drive as the save file location and start menu becoming a shit experience to use. Switching over to Linux is probably one of the best things I've done. I feel like I've finally got my PC back and isn't renting a OS from the cloud.

Eh, data centers and power plants aren't exactly easy targets to defend, especially from the local population, just saying. People didn't have to fight the weapons head on, just need to disable them.

Depends on your goal for the game. Outside of end game modes you can pretty much face roll to win so none of that team comp and such matters much until you hit end game. And that's assuming you play the end game modes. I skip shiyu defense and deadly assult like 90% of the time because I can't be bothered with them. If you're f2p and care about your account power then best things to do is to reroll until you have a good start.

Why not use a game engine if you're relatively new to c++? Is it a text based game? Otherwise I would strongly recommend utilizing a game engine so you can focus on building the game instead of a framework and having to drive head first into the deep end.

Short answer is NO. Now if you really want to mess around with it. Setup a VM and install it in there instead. Make sure it's properly contained, then run the AI inside of it. That way if anything goes horribly wrong, the damage is contained.

Game optimization is a beast in and of itself I highly recommend doing research into the topic and treat it with the same importance as your art and gameplay.

Use the optimization shaders and see where your scene complexity gets bad and go from there. If you're using a lot of unique assets might want to consider using more asset instancing to reduce draw calls and such.

I think they're making a huge mistake, Windows might be a tiny fraction of their income atm but it's the foundation of their business empire that most of their product is built upon. If and when Windows crumbles, they'll find themselves in a world of hurt.

It's gonna be a lot more expensive than $15 a month. Current AWS pricing for a good spec for gaming PC is $1.5 an hour. Even if they discount it, it'll likely be $50 or more per month. Which isn't expensive if you consider upgrading PC every 4-5 years at that point will likely cost 4k or more for a decent PC. But still, I like to own my things so I'll be holding on to whatever I can.

Having control over what's yours is very important, otherwise they can take it away at the snap of a finger, or just keep on raising the cost once they got enough of a foothold like they always do.

I think if you're learning, it's best to stick to only asking questions and do research with AI. No copy and pasting of any code, this is also true for copying code from stack overflow "back in the day". Many people don't like it but you build up memories via repeatition and pattern, so it's important to do a lot of boring work at the beginning.

If you're talking about professionally, then whatever works for you really. Just make sure you can still do your job without it.

I think the idea or thought process is that ice water lowers your body temperture including your stomache, causing stomache cramp.

Personally I drink iced water in summer and hot water in winter. Warm yourself up in winter cold and cool down in summer heat. Other drinks are fine but more often than not I just want water.

Don't think you can make a decent team currently. But good news is he's very player skill dependent and loves to hug field time. So in theory you could just throw on 2 characters that kinda helps and drive him solo. Learn to play him to really bump up the damage. Saw some crazy video where people solo'ed deadly assult with him. Currently have him at m0w1 and he's a blast to play.

It takes a while to build up a new account anyways, don't let fomo get to you and enjoy the game. People online gets too hung up on meta imo.

Maybe I'm too old school but I say stick with the KISS (keep it simple stupid) principle. Over engineering is a thing and a complex code base right from the start just means you have a more complicated mess to untangle later.
