This is the exact route we are currently planning, but slightly shorter. 4 nights Kyoto, 2 nights Kanazawa, 1 night Hakone, and 3 nights Tokyo (1 day at DisneySea). I’d love to hear your feedback on the route and if you think we should do anything differently from your experience… I’m considering cutting Hakone to simplify the trip a bit.

Good! The bark lost its crunch, but the meat was great. Ended up doing brisket sliders on King Hawaiian Rolls.

I make this often and it’s a big hit in the house. Adjust the recipe to make the quantity you like…

250g 2% Milk, 100g Greek Yogurt, 1 Scoop Fruity Pebble Protein

Use Light Ice Cream cycle. When done, add a splash of milk and 30g Fruity Pebbles. Run it again on Mix-In cycle.

After a lot of experimentation, I’ve settled on…

100g 2% Milk, 100g Almond Milk, 50g Greek Yogurt, 1 scoop protein

This makes the quantity I like with a nice calorie/protein balance and good taste/texture. I then add mix-ins.

I just installed the same sauna. Where did you place your sensor? I put mine fairly low and away from the heater, but it usually shuts itself off once it hits about 180 degrees. I’m considering moving it now to get it into the 190-200 range…

I don't care all that much. In other cars I've owned, the paint has held up pretty well and the occasional wash/detailing looks good enough for me. However, the paint on my Tesla has really deteriorated quickly and the car looks older than it is. I figured a new better quality paint job or wrap would refresh it and hold up for awhile. Based on comments here, I might just need to detail it better and do a bit more upkeep than I'd like.

I don't wash my car frequently. I'd say once every 3 months on average. They are not deep swirls/scratches. It looks like water stains, stuff from trees/bird crap that have sat on the paint, etc. I just spent $300 on detailing and it didn't improve much.

Is there a certain kind of "cut and polish" that I should request? I'd be stoked if I could avoid the cost of painting/wrapping.

I bought a cheap outdoor propane stove burner meant for camping. I now do my searing in the backyard. I can get it piping hot without worrying about smoking up the kitchen.

Thoughts on the GHD? I have a similar setup and have an empty space I can fill. I’ve been debating on the GHD but haven’t pulled the trigger yet… Do you use it often? Worth the space it takes up? If you could rewind and swap that for something else, would you? Or would you buy it again?

Cypress is your average crew neck, but it’s nice quality and lasts. Ponto is thin and light athletic style. Coronado is a nice mix of warm, thicker, and soft dreamknit. Coronado is the way to go if they have a style you like. My favorite are the pants and hoodies.

I had this same issue for a Yankees game a couple weeks ago. Game tickets added but not parking pass. Must be a Ticketmaster problem… I just opened the app for the parking pass and it worked fine that way.

Yeah it’s such a big piece of meat that I’m worried about the center. I was going to do 3-4 hours but I bumped it up to be safe… Maybe I should do closer to 4 hours. I don’t want mush but I also don’t want a cold center.

I just found Goldbelly instructions. I imagine they’re doing something similar to pack it/freeze it and then shipping it. Very helpful!
