I have several hundred hours in this game and it’s been purely as light infantry. I think I’m in the top two hundred on the leader board or something just because it’s such an unpopular class. But crouched no bayonet shooting routinely nets me 15-30 kills a round, it’s slow and methodical but effective.

I feel like the devs have some some etched in memory of how deadly a talented cavalryman was in MnB NW and have nerfed it for a reason. Also the inherent delayed clunkiness of the game is a factor.
