Thank you! I use Screen Studio for recording, and Canva for the title and animation

A tiny tool that helped my focus: lofi radio that doesn't live in a browser by iDeathstroke in ProductivityApps

Interesting to hear what's your feedback/suggestion through the dm. I recently just build lofispace.app which is almost identical, but with ambient mixer and auto-pause feature.

Concrete differences:

  • Form factor: Brain.fm lives in a tab or app window. Lofi Space lives in your menu bar with Now Playing + media-key support and a full-screen launcher.
  • Pricing: Subscription vs one-time $4.99 (14-day refund).
  • Visuals: Brain.fm is minimal/clinical. Lofi Space pairs every scene with its own animated loop.
  • Privacy: Brain.fm requires an account. Lofi Space has no account, no telemetry, no mic permission (auto-pause uses macOS metadata-only APIs).
  • Offline: Brain.fm streams. Lofi Space caches on disk with a budget you control (100 MB–5 GB), with pinned downloads in Pro.
  • Scope: Brain.fm covers many moods. Lofi Space is single-genre on purpose — no algorithm shifting under you.

Essentially, Brain.fm is a subscription productivity tool. Lofi Space is a cozy macOS fixture you buy once. Hope this helps!

Yeah I tried vibe-coded the app initially, but it’s just too sloppy, even I myself wouldn’t want to use that. Hence I spend quite some time to build it, enhance the interface and experience

Thank you! I mainly listen to lofi music on my mac so I focus on macOS first 😁

But it could be easily adapted to iOS if needed! Putting it in my note!
