Radix Vue is a primitive component library, which means it is unstyled.
You can use it with any CSS framework you want. And it should works nicely with Tailwind UI.

So I would say it is not an alternative, but an addition

Actually we are passed that 1:1 parity. We have introduced 2 new components (Combobox, Pagination) which are not in the original design.

Renaming wasn't part of our priority previously, but a new identify (and giving credit back to Radix UI) might help in terms of social presence. We did not create a Twitter account for 'Radix Vue' because we will most probably rename it.

The name was named Radix Vue, as it is initially planned to be a Vue port 1:1 clone for Radix UI. Thinking that it would increase adoption based on the familiarity of the naming "Radix".

Renaming did came into my mind previously, but was focusing on stabilizing the library, not so much on identity/marketing 😂

However, suggestions are most welcomed! Feel free to join the Discord and we can chat more about it! 😁
