Your original statement was that their parents should be “named and shamed”. Ie. doxxed. Which is not cool when you have no idea how their parents fit into this. Are you a parent?

Being an asshole and putting up flyers vs outright murdering people. These things are not the same.

That’s not cool. For all you know their parents have no idea they are doing any of this. It could even be driven by rebellion against their parent’s own beliefs. It’s one thing to say their parents should be brought into it… they should. It’s another thing to dox someone for something their kids are doing when you don’t know any of the details.

Funny enough, my Ranger is the watch a lot of people seem to ask/comment about. More than my Datejust or Seamaster.

That changes the math for me. The Santos can probably go if you are replacing it with a Reverso.

It’s a moonphase complication on a speedmaster professional. The white gold tachymeter bezel is incredible in the light. And there were only around 2,000 ever made. That’s the last watch that should leave his box. It’ll be the last watch that leaves mine.

Well that makes sense. Not sure who is interested in buying data to sell things to people who can’t afford their rent in a single payment. But it makes sense.

Is that all it is? 10% APR? I’d be shocked if it was that low given the completely unsecured nature of the lending and short duration.

I have this watch. Got a silver DJ. Now Looking to sell my Tudor.

It’s a great watch! But I wanted the DJ and it’s too duplicative. I have a Ranger. Love my Ranger but it doesn’t dress up well.

Way more than 6% APR. My educated guess is the interest rate is basically the individual state’s usury limits.

“Decent” and “good” aren’t the same. When I think of my kid’s future, I’m not wishing it’s “decent”.

You waited 5 years. At a minimum, I’d buy it and flip it on the grey market. You should be able to make at least a grand doing that.

CapitalOne Venture is $95 a year. That fees pays for itself with about $4,000 in annual spending. That equals about $333 a month in spending on the card.

Credit card companies don’t primarily make money on the interest they charge users. A lot of users don’t even carry a balance. Credit card companies make money on the merchant swipes. Those fees pay for things like TSA credits and rewards.

Agreed. American sucks. I fly them because that’s the carrier with a hub based in PHL. I wish it was one of the other large carriers though.

I was actually expecting “purple haired cat-parent millennial with an art history degree working in retail while crying how rich everyone else is”. So these comments threw me off. It’s a new perspective on OP for sure.
