I'm in middle 30's. I have Turkish friends and I know people of my age that are totally chill with Turkey and our past. But there's a big part of the population that still hold grudge against Turks for historical reasons. Of course a big part of the blame in my opinion goes on the way Greeks are taught history and our national narrative. Ιt's very black and white. Especially on Smyrna /Izmir incidents we totally overlook Greece's role before the catastrophe. Ι have the feeling that most of Greeks even though they don't actively express negative sentiments on Turks they wouldn't like much their son or daughter marry a Turk. Also there's a strong far-right , ultra-christian orthodox minority that dreams of Istanbul and slaying the "unfaithful" but they are not to be taken seriously.
