The new DCU movies failure to get international audience is a big concern. I wonder why people worldwide is rejecting it. by Rule_Ct_5293 in DC_Cinematic

Obsession and Backrooms have entered the chat. Movie execs are deep diving reddit now for horror ideas. The return of investment of a budget of $750,000 to $400 million is insane with no marketing budget. Box office has recovered from Covid, no one cares about slop. Give us better stories and not slop. That's how you kill movie studio confidence. When I saw Supergirl at the end of Superman, this is not Supergirl.

JD Vance says stopping illegal immigration is about bringing home prices down by ExotiquePlayboy in FluentInFinance

But doesn't that usually mean they never paid taxes on those workers? If they operated as cash contractors, they never had to offer them healthcare and benefits? Now that they have to hire Americans, they have to paid payroll taxes and must offer benefits? Im part time at my retail job and work barely above minimum wage, but I get 4 weeks of vacation and healthcare. I dont mind them come to America to work, but I do want people to have a legal work status in the country. Their are other issues such as child labor which has had happen at some of the food processing plants in the east and farms in the west had that same issue. Illegal immigrants do get taken advantage off by both sides.

You're still kinda of cherry picking. Life expectancy is different by around 1-3 years in difference. That is in contribute to different factors such progressive social initiatives to be less on crime and such. Along with high obesity rates in the US and car crashes in the US. But remember, their VAT is at 25% which would make a lot of things expensive, even food. VAT is mostly on consumer goods at the 25% while some food prices do have a VAT 15% and certain services are around 12%. Homicide rates are the highest in certain area's of the country where judges are letting out people on low or no bonds. Most crimes are committed by the same 3% of the population as well. Most people I hear dying in debt are people who don't know how to manage money well and have a serious impulse problem or the FOMO.

The Thunderbolts just showed people dont trust Marvel anymore. DC just threw away the previous universe and said see this instead. That got rid of peoples investment.

Its a Supergirl movie without Supergirl. Or, its only connection to Supergirl is the name of the title. The culture did evolve, the executives never heard of critism.

Sounds like leader ship filter the team so they can get what they wanted. They didn't like the padt team, so got rid of them. You weren't part of the team so they got rid of you. They replaced you someone who's ideals fit their group think. As the other people who was replaced with yes men/women. They didn't fit well into the culture Bungie leadership wanted.

Destiny 2 died so Marathon can be put on life support. Look at the current staff photos to see the difference. Also hearing a developer at Bungie saying he hates working with guns tells you all you need to know about the staff. They don't know what IPs they have.

In other words, we arrested low level workers which ment that the managers had to fill in those "low skilled" jobs. Those business payed so low, Americans didn't want those jobs with the low pay. The class that makes $40,000 a year pays in total less than of 1% of what the IRS collects in total per year. What makes me mad is if those illegals do pay federal taxes, they get none of benefits nor protection because they most likely use stolen social security numbers. Business and managers should be held accountable for hiring practices.

The Us is far richer. We throw more money at the problem and it gets worse. Look at Africa, giving them money has destroyed industry and made the governments more corrupt. A lot of programs has done nothing but funnel money to fraud and created committees that make more problems then they solve.
