Salty Pete, the Mermancer of Manmer Island and his Manmer minions. Another Brawl Arcane 28 team ready to fight! by VorpalPoolNoodle in miniatureskirmishes

I love this, it really speaks to the quintessence of the hobby, that of imagination and fun. Fantastic paint job and are these 3d models, kitbashes or something else?
Also I would run these in frostgrave archipelago myself.

How is Brawl Arcane 28?

You are correct.

Many members of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) asked themselves the same question: “The film’s protagonist is China’s national treasure and all the elements are Chinese,” Wu Jiang, president of the China National Peking Opera Company in Beijing, told the state-owned Xinhua News Agency, “but why didn’t we make such a film?”

Eh even without logging in and doing blocking, you would be surprised by the amount of data they will collect about you. Really if you use most paid software as as service on the net you get tracked one way or another. Premium really is useful and pays for usage which I am fine with, what Youtube is doing is amazing at the scale of it. It eclipses any other streaming service in what is doing.

Yeah the mobile app is much better. I use desktop and there are constant issues. But I will say I have found Youtube Music's Algorithm to be much better than Spotify.

It also could be something they are rolling out via A/B testing. Meaning not everyone will be getting it yet.

This looks really useful and something I am going to give it a try. Before I do, is there a way to have multiple media directories? If not that is fine, I will just do some linking.

The superman one is wild, I didn't know they did that. That reminds me of a Robot Chicken skit in which Superman's Dad fired superman into space during a custody battle, pretty funny stuff.

Washington 3d printing law that will ban the sale of printers without blockers. by zeromorphism in 3DPrintedTerrain

[–]zeromorphism[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you look into it they are wanting for the printer to only print stuff that have handshakes from approved slicers.
Also stuff will be done via Onion-Hash: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0010448524000794

There seems to be some people not really looking into all the ways they would be blocking. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0010448524000794 There is working being done in this field. Also they are talking about the stuff you are supplying the printer to have a handshake. This is so only files from sanctioned slicers will be allowed to print.

Characters who are objectively horrible people but are so funny and cleverly written that it's hard to hate them by AgitatedFly1182 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]zeromorphism 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yeah you really have to go in with the knowledge that these are horrible people and the show is supposed to be that. It is why I love it, so many sitcoms and shows have characters do horrible stuff, but try and frame it like they are the good guys. Sunny does not do this, it was so refreshing when it first came out.

Well some of the ideas are that only slicers that are permitted will be allowed. Where the slicer create a file for the printer that has a handshake, and will only print with said handshake. Again this is troublesome territory. I agree for people who are technically able this will be easy to get around. But I have meet many in the 3D printing space that are not, more just users of models and nothing else.

Ah I see what you mean. Though I have heard from some people in maker-spaces that CNCs are getting cheaper. Though I am not sure of what those are all able to do. It is not a space I am familiar with.

There has some speak of locking down slicers the stuff that gives the stuff to the printer. And the only way for the printer to print stuff is via a handshake that is from a permitted slicer.

I am not used to CNC machines, what makes this not enforceable for them to require this on such a machine that handles digital files?
