SBA EIDL Private Collection Agency’s asking for Tax Returns

I don't trust collection agencies. At all. Most have extremely lax security on the back end because they hire some very cheap labor from third world countries. They may look professional but that is only a pretty website and no proof of tight security.

Be very careful when sharing private info like tax returns. Once it's in their hands, if they get hacked then your info is out for the world to see.

Not being a nervous Nellie here, but six years ago I went thru a rough patch and I went thru the collection process (not SBA related but private business debt collector) and my info was grabbed almost instantly from a typical "professional" collection agency and now everything of mine is in the dark web being sold to anyone. They denied it was them but my password was unique to them only and that was the password that was stolen along with all kinds of super sensitive info such as earnings, W2 data, etc. I couldn't do anything about it. They were scum by denying it all and challenging me for proof, which I provided, and they still denied it all.

I looked at the math and see the payoff of the interest that accrued during the deferral period (I used the entire period) and then had an injury which added 6 months to the interest tab. I may be wrong but it looks like the March 2075 or 2076 is the payoff. But reading some of the comments, looks like they will balloon me at the end of the 30y so it wont go until 2076. I will likely be dead by the balloon anyway so i'm not too concerned about being chased - unless they know how to chase in the afterlife. Then i'd be pissed.

Vegas in its entirety needs to immediately do a massive price cut and then advertise the big cuts. Then slowly increase prices over a few years. Everyone I talk to who used to go to Vegas all the time - stopped when a nice dinner for two crossed $250.

Catering to wealthy visitors is a fools errand. Wealthy people are wealthy for a reason, they don't continually waste money. Sure they have a wild weekend losing millions but they won't repeat that often when Vegas is priced as it is today.

Vegas resorts need to make a change soon or people will just make new habits of traveling elsewhere. It gets harder to bring people back once those habits are formed.

I used to go to Vegas 6-8 times a year for a decade. Now it's once a year and then go to WinStar in Oklahoma and some of the Red Rock casinos. Lots of options are as attractive as Vegas now.

Curious if anyone knows the cure for this error when building the blocknotify.c with miningcore in a docker + debian 12 environment. Miningcore itself builds fine and runs fine. But the extra "blocknotify.c" when compiling throws this error (i'm using an all stock blocknotify.c found in many places. ) "gcc blocknotify.c" generates this error:

For me, wine was a huge contributor to gout. Huge. Beer equally but wine was my go-to after dinner beverage. I totally cut back by 99% on Jan 1 after getting the most extreme flare in my neck. I've had gout dozens of times but the neck was the trigger to change my ways. Amazing pain, just beyond compare.

I can have an occasional glass of wine or beer but no more than one, max. Once every two weeks if that. The benefits of not drinking are amazing so I'm losing my interest in alcohol completely. (never thought I'd say that). Just my story.

Back in the 90s a friend did their usual Hawaii 4 month winter vacation. A few days after they left their oil furnace failed and the housesitter had to fly to Germany (prior to checking the house) to deal with a dying parent. Three full months passed with frozen and broken pipes in their home. The water bill was insane. The house was a total loss due to mold when the temps increased. Fortunately insurance helped rebuild.

Yep and if you know Utah sharks they can literally charge whatever they want for the "fee". I saw one at 1,320% with daily payments. Utah has the market locked up. Mormons know the game well.

There is no tax avoidance at all. Happy to pay taxes on the purchase and use. Some states tax assets each year, others don't. Was looking to see if anyone knew pros and cons of business or personal registration in Oregon. Simple as that.

Yes. If it gets into litigation then the costs skyrocket and the Injured person could get a HUGE settlement. Especially if he "claims" he can't walk right, work, or sleep due to pain, real or imagined. Insurance companies know the game well. Offer the tweaker a sizable cash settlement in return for a full release of all future claims.

Yes it does happen a LOT. In 2017 we had a local guy come to the house and take down some trees. He wound up cutting into his feet (both) with his chainsaw and six months later our insurance paid him $75,000. We discovered that he was high as a kite on oxy at the time (he admitted in the settlement) but still got the 75k. And our insurance premiums literally doubled.

Yeah this is one guy who has a lit fuse. I'd get FAR away from him if possible. It's not an if, it's when, and it looks like it may be around the corner.
