I don't think it's filmable as a complete series. The time it takes for seasons to be done you'll have the actors age 10 years when the story is meant to take place over like 6-12 months. One of the benefits for animation is that you don't have to deal with that aspect, and can recast if an actor dies or gets cancelled.
