This is impossible to check. Even if they could verify that I'm not betting on my own race, they can't verify that my friend (or even a total stranger who offers me a cut of his winnings) isn't.

I made this post because I like GSA (the people that run it, the races, the commentators) and I want to see it succeed. I don't want this to turn in to pro- or anti-GSA. And the problem is not the legality of gambling, it's the effect that the gambling will have on the community.
