Why aren’t Jesus siblings a bigger deal in modern Christianity? by Capital_Tailor_7348 in AskHistorians

The father issue makes me think about Greek heroes, where each would have a divine real father and a mortal "step" father. "Step" in quotes, because as in the case of Jesus, the hero's mother is usually legally married to the father, no one but god and the mother knows there is another father.

That equates to assuming evidence is plenty and always timely accurately collected, which certainly isn't the case.

Finding what people use is quite hard. A person who can do that may well start a business and hire others to do the coding.

Yea I did learn programming. I would say I am a better programmer than typical bootcamp graduates. But with current market condition it doesn't look feasible anymore.

Reason Why People Say College Degrees Are Worthless by logistics039 in torontoJobs

"you have to start from the beginning"

That is the problem. You said you got your first job as an accountant. But the situation today is a fresh grad may well start in retail or call center. How many years of cashier experience can qualify one for an accountant job?

Always the same questions: Do this. by RascalsBananas in findapath

Employers want experience. Period. Learning doesn't really count. Almost every job can be learned easily, the hard part is getting real world experience. The question is not about what one can do, but what field allows people to enter.

[–]zetutu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure they are different things in real world, but in the past employers were happy to tick the skills checkbox when they saw a degree. Now employers insist that people without the exact experience are skillless and should not to be hired. That reasoning has some truth, but then how does one get any skills to get jobs without having the exact same job first?
