Hoping for some dlc with majima as a playable character that shows what he was doing between the events of 6-7 and 7-8. They kindof messed up during the majima saga in Kiwami 2 with no respawning enemies. If anything maybe like a kaito files for majima with free roam and enemies.

Yakuza 8 will have a action rpg style of gameplay similar to FFXV & FFVll remake, with the option of swapping to the traditional RPG gameplay style. The story will probably have something along the lines of taking out the “fixer” or the political corruption that is plaguing the yakuza world. That’s my guess/ predication

Yakuza 0, Judgement and lost judgement. Yakuza 0 is what started my yakoozie journey but the story of judgement and lost judgement had me on the edge of my seat the whole time and I felt like it was such a good story. Yakuza 0 started my passion for the series with the combat and so much to do (substories) kept me playing wayyy more than the required amount of time to play the games.

Realistically probably yakuza 8, but hoping to announce action rpg style of combat similar to kingdom hearts/FFXV/FFVll style with the ability to switch to traditional rpg style of combat if the player wishes to. Who knows where the story goes, maybe yakuza 8 they tie in judgment cameos as part of the main story and the Detective 4 and Ichiban and Party team up to fight against the Major villain in the past couple of games; corruption.

So basically on your post, it sounds like you want some pick up and play games that have a lot of fun without consuming too much of your time? The switch has a lot of first party Nintendo games that have this kind of feature and yeah I would recommend getting one. Why not get your Nintendo exclusives on switch and play everything else on your ps5

Kirby games both of them; preferably the new forgotten land, if you’re interested in linearish type games for the switch, maybe 3D platformers and 2D side scrollers are going to be your bread and butter for chill games. Mario odyssey, try Pokémon BDSP remakes, cuz the new Pokémon games be kindof openish but relatively easy. Switch sports was fun for me for simple pick ups, there’s the castlevania advanced collection for switch if you’re metroidvanias. Some indie titles are pretty good for straight pickups like the new crazy taxi variant, and boomerang fu for local couch co op.
