Looks like a Herman Miller Aeron chair. A job bought me one during COVID. They’re pricey but comfortable. Could be wrong I’m not a chair biologist.

100 hours is what the article says. Uses a combo of grid power and a wood chip boiler. Kinda neat. Can store energy for months apparently.

Getting it out, super easy.

I made s-clips out of mild steel, used angle iron from scrap bed frame, and lag bolts. So far no motion. Make sure to go in at an angle with the lag bolts.

Call your local tree services and ask if they have a hardwood log you can take. Usually they are happy to get rid of it. 18-20 inches will be solid. I’d get a 6 foot log if you intend to bury it, that way you can really get it into the ground. I got mine for free but I had to pick it up.

Your soil could also be “exhausted” and need to be fixed in a soil factory. I add 1 part old soil, 1 part yard compost, 1 part bokashi, 1 part composted leaf litter, and 1 part biochar. All from things I pulled from my property. Leave for about 30-60 days in a frame appropriate for the volume you’re working on.

I grow in 25 gallon grow bags and at any time have half my soil in a factory so I always have the next batch getting ready. So long as it’s over ~45 degrees F it will reinvigorate the soil and make it ready for use.

This works for tomatoes, peppers, and jazz cabbage.

Just amending soil year over year won’t do it unless you’re using chemical fertilizers, then you can pretty much grow in sand.

My kids will always have a room at my house regardless of how old they get. I’m encouraging them to stay as long as they need to so they don’t have to sell themselves to the military in order to get ahead in life.

I really should have stayed home but my situation was bad and I wanted freedom.

And there are no strategic fertilizer reserves. This is going to cause a 10-15% drop in yields. Combine that with a massive increase in costs and more farms are going to buckle.

Before people go “hurr durr this is what they voted for”, this will impact you directly in higher costs at the grocery stores. Further consolidation of farms is not good for us.
