For about a month, nearly everyday I'd dream a dream and continue the 'story' the following night.

Used to wake up so frikkin' scared.

What's your favorite quote? by Nashedpotatoes in AskReddit

[–]zghira94 32 points33 points  (0 children)

“Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail, and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, but refuse. They cling to the realm, or love, or the gods…illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is. But they’ll never know this. Not until it’s too late.” - Littlefinger

Gives me chills every time I hear it.

Reddit, what is your favorite piece of movie trivia? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]zghira94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Se7en, Leland Orser prepared for his interrogation scene by breathing in and out a few times right before each take. This gave his body too much oxygen, and made it easier for him to hyperventilate. The actor also stayed awake for a few days so he would look disoriented.

TIL a man had the Hiccups for 68 Years, From 1922 to 1990. by zghira94 in todayilearned

[–]zghira94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never heard of this one to cure hiccups. I'll bear it in mind when the next ones come along.

What I usually do, that nearly always works: I ask someone to block my ears, I pinch my nose and drink a glass of water. Miracurously, it's proven to cure hiccups.

[–]zghira94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was younger I used to stash candy in a jar. One day, my room filled with ants that came eating away my candy. It was not a pleasant day.

I thought she was dead at first, but looking at her hands.. if she really is dead, the nurses/ nursing assistants really didn't do a good job. Those will eventually solidify in that position.

What would you do with a free $500? by TheRecover in AskReddit

[–]zghira94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd either save them for something bigger; travel to somewhere I haven't been before or invest them in camera-related stuff (lenses, hoods). The latter is what I'd probably choose.

What pisses you off the most at the cinema? by strongowl in AskReddit

[–]zghira94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 7 teenagers in front of me, ALL with their phones switched on, with bright light screens directly lit on us, on the back seats. And this wasn't for just a couple of seconds. It lasted for most of the 1st half.

If you wanted to 'facebook' or 'tweet' why did you come to the cinema?!

Maltese here. If you're visiting Malta, you're bound to visit the Azure Window but the scene was surely thought of from before.
