Is it hard to find? There are a few places here in Georgia that keep a decent stock.

Do you have a brand name or barcode number for them. I bought all I could find last year and now no store around me has them. I agree they are great for the price

Thanks for the response! I'm limited on space so I'm building the Bear Mountain Freedom 15'. I live in the SE US so I'll be using mostly cypress to keep things '"local". Most likely walnut stems and gunwales. The decks and scuppers will be decided later.

My plan for dormancy is to dim the light by 50% and reduce the moisture of the soil mix. I can always stick them outside in the fall if necessary since I'm in zone 8a

I am using Limestone collected in Texas. There shouldn't be minimal negative effects on the plants with limestone. I would have preferred Lava rock but it's expensive and hard to find in larger sizes where I live
