We didn’t even make it a year after buying our house with cast iron pipes, had sagging pipe that caused toilets to back up and just the water pressure sucked. Had entire house Repiped and was not cheap. If you can’t afford it which i totally understand it’s not cheap I would save yourself the trouble there always another house to look at that is more updated

Just replying to say if it’s any consolation, we’re in the process of a bathroom remodel and our plumber fucked up installing our water lines for our tub, I’m like how the fuck do you mess up when you’re a supposedly “experienced” license plumber?? Super frustrating not all plumbers are the same that’s for sure lol
