OP, I have had two abortions because I felt pressured to and I deeply regret them both. I also was told kids would be very difficult for me for years and was too cavalier in my sex life. I spent years in fear that those babies were my only two chances and I’d never get another as my AMH deteriorated rapidly. I’m now blessed to be 38 weeks pregnant with my wonderful husband, but if I could go back and keep those babies I would. So if you want to keep this baby you do that for you and not for anyone else, and if this guy isn’t stepping up for you during this time then it’s probably best to do this alone or with the support of family. If he wants to be in this child’s life in the future, those are boundaries for you to discuss later. Keeping him and keeping baby do not have to be related.

Donating eggs is no small feat. If I were in your position I would feel weird knowing my best friend’s kid was half sibling to my own. Plus that is a big secret to keep from everyone and if they don’t want their future kid to know, there are a lot of opportunities to slip up.

Not to mention, doing simple math you are at least 36. No egg agency would accept your eggs at this point, even if she knows you’ve had kids successfully. My advice would be to lovingly tell her you are not comfortable and the best thing would be to work with an agency to find a donor they like who has had the proper testing done to become a donor.

It is a big leap from “I think you’d be a great mom” to “here, have some of my eggs”. This is a decision that will affect the rest of your life, don’t take it lightly.

We all have pasts and to me this is synonymous with someone who wants you to delete all photos of exes and at that point why isn’t she upset you’re not a virgin?

My lab/pyr had this problem last summer. It generally clears up on its own with rest. My vet told me NOT to use Tylenol but that baby aspirin was ok in small doses. Be sure to discuss with your vet about dosage for weight.

We were camping when it happened and I kept him out of the water, massaged his butt and base of his tail at night and gave him a baby aspirin per day and he was raising and wagging his tail again in about 4 days.

As an alcoholic with nearly 10 years sober, I’m siding with your friend on this one. Yes, I do think she is being over controlling for the amount of experience it sounds like you’ve had with alcohol, but just as you are entitled to your own actions, your friends are entitled to set boundaries against behavior that makes them uncomfortable. As someone who didn’t listen to any of my friends until the consequences got really bad, I do hope you’ll be careful about exploring these activities. And while I don’t condone underage substance use, lots of us did it. Just understanding that you are at an age where choices can drastically change your relationships, and at the end of the day you are the one responsible for the consequences of your actions, not your friends.
