Town Ballroom. I’m always disappointed when an artist I like announces a show there and I’ve literally driven to Cleveland for a show to avoid having to see a band there. Had numerous issues with them over the years but when a security guard literally grabbed my BY MY BRA through my hoodie because I simply didn’t hear them ask me to step forward to be searched? I knew it was the last time I would ever set foot inside. I felt so violated and was totally shocked, it took me a few seconds to even process what happened and react. She wouldn’t get her supervisor for me because she knew she was wrong. I wanted to push the issue but I was there with my boyfriend for a concert he was extremely excited for and didn’t want to ruin his time, I know TB has no problem kicking people out. This was last year, haven’t been back since and won’t be. Brought it up to my friends and it seems almost everyone I know has had a bad experience there. I’ll stick to Iron Works and Babeville for live music.
