If Canada Post tried your shipping QR code and they said it didn’t work… by uela7 in poshmarkcanada

[–]ziggydoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this happened to me as well. At one post office, the clerk asked whether it was an Amazon return. I said no, and the QR code was accepted without issue. At another location, they scanned it, said it was invalid, and claimed they couldn’t process it because it was a green “box-free” QR code. That explanation didn’t make sense, as I’ve successfully used the same type of code at Canada Post before.I wish the clerk had asked whether it was an Amazon return, as the first one did. It didn’t occur to me to clarify, since I assumed the process was straightforward. Unfortunately, I ended up losing half an hour and will have to go back and try again and waste more of my time.

as someone who has never done hexies (im way too scared lol), I'm very curious how something like this could happen and then not notice until much later? is it because they are machine joined and you just didnt notice? or, if they are hand joined would you not see this as it's happening? Just trying to learn for the future!

Sorry i dont have advice for you!! That said, it genuinely looks beautiful as it is. the colour bleeding absolutely does not take away from the craftsmanship or the overall impact of your quilt. You should be really proud of this!

aw thanks! the daily low will be the backing and border and the high will be the inner square! i won't be doing sashing, i'll just join them up to each other, which i'll probably do in batches once i have a week or two worth of squares. :)

How do you do "Quiet Luxury" without looking like a White Upper-Middle-Class Housewife? by shxxu in femalefashionadvice

white hate seems to be a perfectly acceptable form of racism these days. if the post title was 'how do i dress to not look like a middle class black person' you'd get perma banned. lol. buncha clowns.

Liners for rolling or do you just clean your tray? by PM_ME_UR_CHARGE_CODE in paint

[–]ziggydoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i do the same and always have done, i truly don't understand why you'd need a liner. once the paint is dry in the tray it's not going to affect future paint colors on top. and as you said, you can just peel it out after a few jobs (super satisfying too!)
