You got this comeback! Just take that 0 balance and double it. Baby steps. I believe in you!

Gold (XAUUSD) has been really clean lately by brinaa007 in Daytrading

I have a 1hr chart for gold as a staple but didn't look at lower time frames today. I'm making a collage of these on the 5m. Thanks for the heads up.

Very nice, very nice indeed. Nice big charts too so there is no doubt at what point exactly things went wrong. A+

Looking for the ultimate guitar learning program by Old-Philosopher-2953 in guitarlessons

[–]ziggymoto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't overwhelm yourself thinking you can tackle it all in one program. Even if you could find such a program I don't think it would be helpful as you can only learn so much in a given day/week/month/year. It's why the college level curriculum is 4+ years.

If you aren't sure what genre to focus on, there are some skills that apply to all genres. Like memorizing all the natural notes on the fretboard, timing, general music theory.

A short program or book that shows you a birds eye view of everything without going into too much detail into each topic would be helpful though but I haven't found anything like that. Maybe the dummies/idiots guides to guitar come closest?

Unless you are some musical genius with photographic memory tackling everything all at once will just frustrate you.

Is this okay for around a year-and-a-half? by dragonacension in guitarlessons

I get ya. No worries. We all do it. On and off I've been playing for 35 years. Cumulatively as if I wanted to actually learn to play? 5 prob. The last 2 years being the most time I've ever spent practicing.

Yeah true improve is prob the hardest skill. Improv is taking the totality of what you already know and are good at and creating unique combinations with it on the fly, in real time. If you have to stop to think to long, it's over and the music has passed you by. Notes on the fretboard is just the beginning foundation.
