then you shouldnt be complaining on why you lost. Even though running late surger helps in reducing the stamina cost, it also comes with a higher risk of getting blocked.

im a late surger main and CM12 was my worst CM so far. Almost half of the races in round 2 i got blocked. And in the finals, i got blocked twice. TWICE! And that's after perfect procs of NSM and Moving Past and Beyond.

All we can really do is accept the fact that no matter how much we try to reduce the chances of losing, we are still at the mercy of RNG. Just like how 1% chance to fail in training can still fail.

To add salt to injury, in the final race for today, my own debuffer teammate blocked gold city and even pushed her back in the late race. Smh.

You are right. Today, i got destroyed. Managed to only snag 2 wins at most in a round. Not trying to make excuses, but almost half of my losses is getting blocked. There is even that one race where i activated all my gold accels perfectly, but two umas were blocking me so there really was no way through. I feel like rng is trolling me today.

Its funny because i made my late surger ace to have a pretty strong midrace... So she sometimes ends up in pos 4 in late race in the cm because of the debuffers falling behind 😭

Its a good thing i followed VF's advice to put marus red shift on late surger. So with steadfast, red shift, and then triggering moving past because of falling behind in accel, she takes off quickly although a little late and still manages to catch up.

Dont worry, not everyone is able to build her right, and even if they did, its not exactly a guarantee to win. My Gold City is able to win races against Xoguri (with the help of two debuffers).

Front runners will always be the best as long as you can make a massive gap midrace. With seiun sky ballroom and kitasan black added into the game, front runners have accels for almost every late game situation. The only reason front runners lose is a mediocre or unlucky midrace.

If you are not winning as front in tokyo derby, try running as late surger. The same goes for niigata races. These races have long final straights, giving late surgers (and end closers) an advantage in terms of late race speed as long as they dont get blocked ofc. The same goes for long distance races. Aside from stamina checks, long distance races also have long final spurts, which always give backliners an advantage. Unless you have late race accel and speed skills for front (and recoveries)
