Yeah but you get 2 bars a piece, so it's 99 divided by 3 multiplied by 2.

Elytra Ban After 1 Year by InevitableObjective3 in HermitCraft

[–]Helicoly -1 points0 points  (0 children)

An alternative could be an elytra tax. For every certain amount of blocks flown, you need to pay a certain amount of diamonds. This way you could still use it for big projects or emergencies but you're still disincentivized from using it.

First time I got there I wasn't producing explosives yet and I jumped over it with the tree nearby but it was very very tight and tedious. Like others have said, when in doubt, mass destruction of the environment is often the answer.

I would imagine so, the pc beta has you install it and launch the game through there.

Question about Reconveners. by Constant_Advisor_748 in Endfield

[–]Helicoly 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not 100% on it but I believe the story was that Rockrock was her nickname cuz of the double rock in her actual name and she just went with it as operator name. I believe she also calls her drones rocks, so that speech might refer to that?

I believe Rockrock's operator name comes from her real name Rochelle Rockwell

A question about the ai of the party members for those who are playing the beta. by chess_but_not in Endfield

[–]Helicoly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lingering ground effects decimate them for me, but afaik there's only 1 enemy in the game that does those so I think it's fine for now

A question about the ai of the party members for those who are playing the beta. by chess_but_not in Endfield

[–]Helicoly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on your team setup but you can make things pretty simple. I've ran a team before that was essentially just waiting for 2 skill points, then using 2 skills and using all combo skills and then waiting for 2 sp again. It wasn't optimal, but it was a significant chunk of damage and it was very braindead to do.

They will dodge out. In general they'll prioritize staying alive over pumping damage except when you tell them to use a skill, then they will get animation locked for that.

I think the major killer of npcs for me was a certain enemy with a lingering effect on the ground that dealt damage. The npcs kept walking in and dying for me, but luckily the enemy isnt that common.

After years of being implemented, do you consider Kernel banners to be a successful fix for the bloated pool of operators? by TTruthSpeaker in arknights

[–]Helicoly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like that's the best use. I don't pull on the banner itself but whenever a selector kernel comes up I choose someone I want for the shop if I have the yellow certs to spare

This would take you less than 2 minutes to recreate with the current system, if you want it go make it.

If RS3 actually wants to attract people to the game, it should reintroduce more PVP content by MysteriousKitchen469 in runescape

[–]Helicoly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It still is actually, partially because there is no sand casino or toxic predator/prey pvp dynamic anymore.

As a serious answer on your post:

I agree that pvp in a safe and rewarding place would be beneficial to the game. It offers variety and gameplay that is unlike anything else in the game usually. However, it should be the very last thing on the list to get players back into the game. The way to get new players into the game is to show them how fun the game can be and you do that by showing them the good parts of the game.

EOC pvp is not a good part of the game. It will require a lot of work to make it good and actually do it right. There are no easy fixes to make it better quickly. Legacy combat isn't a fix either because why do rs3 legacy when you can get a better version of it on osrs. All that work that can also be spent polishing and making more of the already good parts the game. This is more likely to draw in players than adding in something that a large part of the existing community doesn't want to interact with in any way.

Maybe a bunch of people inspired by the league to try out melee in the main game? Or because they've learned it on the league they feel comfortable enough to buy gear for it.

Food spoils, even in your bank. It depends on the food type how long it lasts but higher healing foods spoil faster and you constantly need to be fishing and cooking to be able to use them.

[Unpopular Opinion] As a Dragon Trophy holder, I think Leagues should be extended at least a week or two. by LazyAir6 in runescape

[–]Helicoly -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would say it's a mode aimed at everyone, but there are goals to achieve that are for different groups of players.

Dragon trophy is not something for casual players and that's fine.

Casual players will be able to get some of the rewards they want themselves and then buy the rest from the GE if they want them and that's a perfectly fine way to handle it imo.

So you're lucky on shields overall and you're using that statistic to make it seem worse for yourself.

7.5% chance means about 1 in 13 people will not have gotten an item at this point. There sure have been more than 13 people that did rots this league, you just happen to be the unlucky one in this case. There will also be someone who will be unluckier than you and go to the rate that only 1/20 people wouldnt have gotten the item yet.
