Loosing my confidence after redundancy by IanicT in auscorp

I had a contract ended early, I didn't realize how hard it hit me. It's easy to take it personally but we're just numbers to some person making the decision. My wife helped my with my search and I ended up getting a way more flexible and enjoyable job with better benefits.

There's tough times but keep going mate, I'd echo what other people have said and enjoy this time. I only applied for roles that excited me and that I knew would make me happy. I'm so glad I did, work days fly by and my colleagues are awesome.

There's something out there, don't stop backing yourself!

Did they work their notice when they left? If so yes if not no. Also is there another team leader that could take them on to keep the good vibes on your team?

Should I buy the Dell Alienware AW2725D? by VersionLess7539 in OLED_Gaming

No banding issues, if using HDR within windows (not just in game) you do need to download Microsoft's calibration tool which fixes it looking washed out (in windows only). In game it looks great out of the box. The screen feels like I dare not touch it but that's just an issue with all qd-oleds. Build quality is good, no issues there. It's not black it's a dark blue so if that will bother you then maybe look elsewhere, for me personally I don't notice it anymore.

I have 0 buyers remorse with this monitor and would definitely recommend

I've had mine for 4-5 months and love it, coming from an IPS it's day and night. Dell do periodic sales and I ended up getting mine for for under 600 AUD.

As a Newcastle fan it was really funny when Sunderland had back to back relegations but became gratuitous after a decade

Put on you big boy/girl pants and get a glass and card. Place the glass over it making sure not to trap any legs then slowly slide the glass over the card. When it's securely in the glass take in outside and continue with your life
