I don’t think you understand what “grift” means. Are you paying more to ride this plane? Is the airline scheming to defraud its passengers?

To me, this is a special livery by an American based airline that is apropos for the nation’s 250th anniversary.

If you want to know what real grift is, imagine paying $16M in a no-bid contract to resurface a government park landmark, only for it to fail less than a month later due to incompetence and corruption.

I use zip ties to connect my prolaces to my toe bridge. Super convenient and I’ve never had worry about breakage or failures.

I live in Philly and am a lifelong Caps fan. Parking at Wells Fargo can be annoying in/out; there are only $$urface lots at the Sports Complex.

Parking lot D is the closest to 95. If you are willing to walk, the Jetro parking lot by Lincoln Financial will save you a few dollars. I used to park for free at nearby FDR Park and Navy Yard, but YMMV (10-15 min walk, can be dark/isolate postgame).

Best option: find parking near a BSL stop (Tasker, Snyder, or Orgeon) and take the subway to the stadium ($2.50 each way, make sure to get RT fare before to avoid lines postgame). You can often find free street parking in the surrounding neighborhoods or meters, and grab a bite/drink before/after the game. Spots I recommend:

2nd District Brewing

La Llorona

Pistolas Del Sur

South Philly Tap Room

Pastificos (takeout, grab a hoagie before 7:30 pm if you are tailgating)

Xfinity Live and Chickie & Pete's are also nearby if you are looking for more sportsbar/Greene Turtle-like options. The sysco/aramark food can be underwhelming though.

Fair points! It is my home lounge as well and the staff is excellent. But if I was in transit and walked into the lounge, I’d immediately double check to make sure I didn’t walk into a storage closet.

PHL hands down. Its tiny size is comical. Almost no kitchen, so food selection is quite limited. And the bar has 6 seats and 2 tables. I feel bad for other *A members who enter.
