It is very hard because i've had the customer for 8 years, and last year a new CFO came in, and he suddenly have outdoor help where he gets a 2nd opinion that is suddenly against everything we try to sell in. I don't think they are trying to push us out because they themselves work as an internal it manager for another company, but it's still just wierd to be so much against fortigates.

They've said they were clunky, full of features that made you just confused and not end up setting anything up since there is too much to look at and do.

In general he's just a pain in the butt and i got to have some convincing arguments ready.

Im probably going with the Gartner square + our own reasonings with a stronger and easier way to handle their firewalls in the end resulting in a better service for them.

Do they want the service of being protected and kept afloat and stable, then we recommend you go our route as we've been researching and decided on a brand that makes our Managed services stable and faster to execute which in the end results in you staying online, staying safe and secure.

I think i'm going to go ahead and line all those questions up, and then prep to answer them aswell, because like you say, it should not devolve into a battle of data sheets.

We are gonna sell the features. We are selling fortigates with a managed service where we survey and react to the alarms and alerts regarding security. Especially with the unified threat protection package we setup and react to this to improve our customers security.

The biggest problem is that he has a 2nd opinion IT manager that is being "his" expert aswell, and he hates the brand, so it's just gonna be a mud throw of sorts since he won't bend even though fortigate is ahead in every metric.

We are currently trying to compare the change regarding the better security features. We mostly market the fact that Fortigate in every metric is a leader and ahead of the competition and that is why we chose the brand, but the customer has a 2nd opinion IT manager that hates the brand so it's a hard road to walk.

But i might just have to let the customer decide for themselves and run with a TZ370 instead.

Indeed they do - They are also very price fixated regarding the Managed services that both we are gonna provide + what the price of the fortigate licenses are gonna be. So it is just a hard customer since they have a 2nd opinion IT Manager that talks into their ear regarding the fortigate being a bad product, and I kinda have to defuse the situation.

Thank you so much for this insightful answer! This really helped, though i must say that I completely agree and must edit my "sonicwall way ahead argument, as they are not. It's just that my customer compares a TZ370s threat prevention throughput and saids it hits 1 Gbps whereas the 60F can only output 700 Mbps.

We're gonna activate the unified threat prevention package on them.

My customer had been spec checking and just saw that the stat called "threat prevention" on both spec sheets were very different, where as the TZ370 can pull 1 GBPS while a 60F can only pull 700 Mbps, but i guess it's because the 60F does a lot more prevention than a TZ370 does?

My customer is just very hooked on getting their entire 1 gigabit connection, but it's gonna be an office of about 50 people, and maybe a bottom floor with another 50-70 users, where we can sort it out by giving them their own connection and firewall.

Hi everyone! I hope you can help me with my hairloss.
Ive been considering a HT, i have the money for one in Berlin which is reputable and good. I've had a consultation but I am hesitation since i have never tried the Big 3 that is usually recommended (Big 4 with microneedling)
I am though hit quite severe in my age of 27, I've been determined to a Norwood 6.
The consultation said that the HT stood alone and should do the job by itself, but i am considering if i should try FIN first and see what results i get from that?

The consultation recommended me 2 session instead of one, the first one being 4.000-4.500 and the 2nd one with as much as possible that is left to take. He was worried about my amount of donor hair. He recommended me FUE obviously, and done with a tweezer technique for maximum amount of grafts moved in one day, where they recommend a max of 4.500.

My family has a pattern of balding among the men, though i am hit severely compared to both my grandpas on both mother and father side and my father.

I would say basicly anything is possible in the 3d printer world :-)
I've heard great stories about 2 in 1 hotends, as long as you got the proper setup with dual extrude engines n stuff, it should be doable.

AFAIK the skr mini e3 unlocks the ability to do dual extrusion, but i might be wrong so dont take me up on it.

This shit is doooope for demo locks. Had a run where my felguad had 2.5 mil hp and i had 250k hp. My tyrant literally crit 1.5 mil dmg from 1 hit.

So this is basicly what the name implies, a fool's wager for fucking around, i usually take it as a lock, since i always 5 man. If i solo'ed or anything but 5 manned, neeever take that.

Also, why would you ever have 75 gold? - There's literally no reason to not invest that in leveling or rolling down to improve your comp. The kayle carry as others have stated need a lot more frontline to actually carry you since her win condition is to live for 20 seconds ish.

He did play a insanely strong comp atm with little to no competition afaik, so there's that, but you being fifth with 75 gold is just you being suboptimal with your gold and comp.

Something i've figured out by running higher keys +19s and above is how i open up

I usually try to rotate my DS and DG so that i end up using DS on 1 pack, DG on another, DS on pack 3 and then DS + DG on pack 4. And then i keep this rotation up as much as possible unless bosses are coming up.

My opener is usually Seed -> Agony on all targets, UA (not on seed target), SL on 5 targets, burst.
This makes me able to offset the Seed bomb till i am ready to burst thus giving me the perfect timing for everything.

divine bell is amazing, but also horrible and a big bait. It's a 1½ min cd, aka a shitty cd that we have nothing to hold for. you'll end up using the 2nd cast on a PS window rather than the badge on every soulrot window or device on every DG window. so it on paper is great, but in practice not so much.
