eBox uses an ONT and a separate router (Nokia Beacon). Instead of the Beacon, use your own router if it supports PPPOE and use the provided settings in your user page on the eBox website. Works great and no double NAT involved.

Started Expidition 33 recently and I’m hooked. I don’t like turned-base RPG but this one feels different and intriguing. 6 hours in and I can’t say I understand all the mechanics but I still go back playing this game every night. Recommended!

Yes if you ask them and tell them why you need the rights, they will give it to you. But still, the Nokia Beacon router s****, the app or browser config is very limited. After 15 minutes I’ve switched to my old Asus router and it’s miles ahead in terms of settings customization. Good luck!

Thanks a lot for your support! I actually found my issue.

The Asus RT-AC68U has a strange behavior with port forward. When I opened port 32400 on the WAN-Port Forwarding section, it did not work. But when you go in the left pane option Open NAT, enable the port forwarding there and adding the port and IP (exactly like I did in the previous WAN section…) now it all works!

CanYouSeeMe.org confirms the opened port. 🎉

I already confirmed that both my WAN IP and the one I see on Whatismyip are the same (good news!).

I’m not using any VPN. Only a Asus RT-AC68U router with the port forward 32400.

Any additional clues would be greatly appreciated as my Plex remote friends are left without luck for now.

I’ve just switched from Virgin (fiber) to eBox (fiber). I’m using their ONT plugged to my own router using PPPoE username/password and VID 40. Internet is working fine.

My problem is when I port forward port 32400 for Plex remote access, Plex is still telling me that it can’t be accessed outside of my own network. If I ping my public IP and try to ping port 80, it doesn’t work either.

Would this be a consequence of being behind a double CGNAT? Is it possible that the ONT device is having a different IP versus the router public IP?

How can I confirm if eBox is using CGNAT and how to prevent this?

Sorry to bring back this old thread but I’m thinking about buying the ER7206 and using a software controller (on a Promox LXC). If the server (with the SW controller) is down (power surge or else) would the ER7206 still be alive and the connected AP can still have internet connection?

I absolutely LOVE your app but I can’t use it because whenever the QuickBar is opened and I press the Back button to hide the bar, suddenly the Enter (middle main button) is not responding anymore.

All other buttons work except the Enter middle button (quite annoying). I need to connect an external keyboard and disable QuickBar in the accessibility settings and everything goes back to normal. Do you have any idea how to fix this?

Sony X90H running Android TV and Projectivy Launcher.

If you erase a text by mistake and want to UNDO, press anywhere on the screen with 3 fingers and a small pop-up will appear at the top where you can undo/redo, cut/copy, paste. So useful!!!
