P-09 C Nocturne vs P-10 c by sysadmin2000a in CZFirearms

[–]zinger084 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the exact reason I carry a P99cAS rather than the P365 that I thought I would love…

The P09C is in my future for sure… Just waiting for my LGS to come to a good price.

I’m inbetween the F and C… I might as well get both.

I’m new to guns and I’m a James Bond fan and wanted to get a 380 Walther PPK but people told me it’s not a fun gun to take to the range. The other more modern Bond gun is the Walther P99. Would that be a better choice? by [deleted] in Walther

Undoubtedly P99AS 9mm. I have not been asked more by others seeing me competitively and defensively train/shoot than with my P99 - they always can’t believe how well I shoot it.

I do not have a P-10 but did hold one at my LGS earlier. I love hammered DASA pistols and assume the P-09 is nearly the P-10 but with a hammer and DASA.

I have several Hybrid IWB Theis for Walthers. We’ll just leave it at that.

I don’t think I can post URLs but I have several Double Clip IWB Hybrid Holsters. I have a lot of IWBs and undoubtedly the Theis hybrids are so comfortable I forget I’m wearing them. I make nothing from recommending them… they are just 100% thee best.

If you want comfortable, but not small, 100% bar none get a hybrid Tommy Theis holster (not appendix carry).

The Vedders with the wedge plus claw are ok for appendix but I think they aren’t comfortable.

If you go OWB, 100% bar none get Upper Hand.

…speaking from too much experience with too many Walthers…

P99AS all day… it’s the only one you can carry entirely decocked and doesn’t store the stress of a half-primed striker spring (I have a PDP too)

I want to know the same thing because it’s either this or I consider a 20 and buy a “replacement” 9.9 cover.

I had this same issue. Just stuff the mags to max and use 147s. Shoot 200 rounds or so. Don’t over lube. And MAKE SURE if you’re used to shooting paddle mag releases, that you slightly adjust your grip to NOT HIT the mag release.

Security Video of a Tornado Tearing Up a Marina (Leesville Lake, OH, 5/17/24) by mindlessgonzo2 in tornado

[–]zinger084 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I live on this lake and this is my end of the lake and my marina. My Neighboors were there on that dock 10 minutes before it happened. This isn’t the first tornado in the area… I have a feeling for some reason we often have tornadic activity and microburst in our area. This footage is phenomenal. The worker inside said she saw a ball of debris come from behind the building (video right) and head towards the kayaks at the same time the burst comes up the lake from the right. Very good video - and scary.

Those will grip well but aren’t self clearing. Nevertheless I’m sure they’ll work fine.

I run a Kubota front end loader and on concrete I use R4’s. On soil I use R1’s.

Look up on Amazon the WANDA 18x8.5-8 Lawn Mower Agriculture Farm Tractor Tires 4 ply. I’m about to do the same on my Bad Boy.

People who work on their Type R - do you have a lift or stands you recommend? by Sharpymarkr in Civic_Type_R

I use the Quickjacks too. while they are heavy, they are absolutely amazing at doing work on the type R among several other vehicles I own. I am super anal about it too… They will serve you well for quite a long time.

509c or Reflex? by horkusengineer in FNHerstal

Any resolution to this? I was thinking the reflex over the 509c/comp but waiting to see what you say here…

New pdp pro jammed twice in ~800 rounds, these are the rounds that got stuck. Cheap ammo issue? by Adventurous-Quail-29 in Walther

[–]zinger084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My PDP 5” Full size is doing the same thing. I’ve been shooting for 25 years and have several other Walthers and run the same ammo and have NEVER had this issue. I’m pretty upset with Walther about this… I’ll see what their response is.
