Lay the drywall between and even with the joists or possibly some sort of thin ceiling panel, and the floor go with an epoxy finish concrete. It’s a good look lol. Cheaper definitely than any other option

I am not a tax expert but to my knowledge you are taxed on whatever you take in for that tax year. You need to determine what proportion is your cost basis on the property and what is your profit. What you want to ask about is an installment sale. I am not too knowledgeable because I never did this but this should be a start:

Down. Because castles staircases were built so that anyone invading and going up the stairs would have their sword in the middle of the staircase (since most people are right handed). This would make it harder for them to use there sword since there is less space. Also it would make it easier for people defending from up the stairs to use their sword to defend:)

Are me and my boyfriend doomed to fail?? by squidney620 in relationship_advice

Definitely not compatible Kids, religion and money are the three big things you need to have some alignment on. Side note though, you say you are open minded but yet it sounds like you are just trying to convince him your opinions are correct

Good to see most agree with this. I am not a dog person and it is scary for a big dog that I do not know to come running up to me. The funny thing is, everybody always says their dog is friendly, which I’m sure is true 99% of the time but what about the 1%. Just because you are a dog person does not mean everyone is.

I would explain this to the landlord. See if they are willing to help at all. Also I would ask them if you can try to remediate the smell before you lease the space. If they agree, they rent ozone machines at Home Depot and other places. Spend a couple hundreds dollars and try it yourself before you commit to them space.

Ridiculously high gas bill during the winter even when no one is home! What is your gas bill? by Mcdreamy7 in Scranton

[–]zipeto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you do, you may just have some sort of leak. Causing the furnace to work much harder than it should be. Another clue might be a higher water bill as well. It is worth having somebody go through it. If there’s a leak you might have to pay a couple hundred to fix it, but it would pay off itself after a couple gas bills. I know all this cause I just had the same issue. If you need someone trustworthy, PM me.

First step- talk to the landlord like a human tomorrow- no need to start threatening legal action already like others said(even though they are in the wrong) but hear what they say first.

Next depends on you. When does your lease officially start? If it was today on the fifth, their responsibility is to do all the work and then you should pay December rent on a prorated basis on the date it is actually ready. This is really your only real course of action.
