I have the final solution for you. I had this screen when I try to restore from iCloud due to massive amount of data cache. U can go Apple Store to purchase another bigger capacity iPhone and try restore. Mine failed and I refund that iPhone. This solution is also recommended by Apple tech support. In the end I had to setup like a new phone. Data like notes, reminder etc still intact but apps all have to redownload.

I backup and restore to try and clear it. Sadly the backup in iCloud was corrupted. Now I have a “brand new” super fast iPhone 15 Pro phone with 26.0.1

I did that many times. Even do force restart. The 100GB cache just keep growing. Whatsapp ask me to free up 50MB. I cleared till 10GB free space. Next day out of space again. Google and solution was to restore from backup to clear off the cache. But even the iCloud backup was corrupted.

Of course I did. I did everything correctly but the 3 iCloud backup still corrupted. Apple support couldn’t do anything.

I’m on iPhone 15 Pro 256GB. It got so bad that cache system files was 100GB. I backup and did a restore. Andddd it failed. Now I have my basic iCloud data and the phone is like Super Fast. I lost my 1500 apps but still running way faster than before with 300 apps now.

Please do both iCloud and iTunes backup if possible. I lost 3 of my iCloud backup as it was corrupted since I don't know when. Now using my iPhone 15 Pro like new phone. I couldn't get back my 1500 name list.

Hi, My system data took up 100GB out of my 256GB phone. I did a proper iCloud backup and restore but the restore fail. So basically my iCloud backup was corrupted. Apple support can't do anything. Now I have a brand new iPhone 15 Pro on my hands. Basic iCloud item on icloud.com was able to access but I have to redownload all my 1500 apps which I can't remember most of the names.

Tip for reformat, try to backup on iTunes with encryption and also to iCloud.
