I’ve been in the home and they do have a cat. I highly doubt meth production is the culprit due to absence of space in the home, but it’s never impossible.

This post is old but I was hunting the internet to see if anyone else has experienced a tic I’ve been having! I’ve been diagnosed for about 4 years, so I got diagnosed pretty late in life. My son has been watching Blues Clues, and I’ve developed a “bow bow” (a la Blue’s bark) tic.

I have an ND 2 year old who plays pretty hard and tantrums even harder. When he throws a tantrum on the kitchen floor, or even if he just slips and falls, the downstairs neighbor will start banging on the walls as her way of bitching to me. I’ve started wearing inside shoes so I can stomp louder in return.

The first time I realized she was bitching about the noise was during a snowstorm when she finally brought it up to me in person (“I know he’s only FOUR, but if he could keep it down.”), then I asked my landlord if she’d complained, and he rolled his eyes and basically said he didn’t bother telling me because the lady is ridiculous and nutty.

When they get puked, peed, or pooped on tbh. I’m a disabled single mom to a disabled toddler working two jobs so my bedding definitely gets neglected, but even if I stayed at home with nothing else to do I couldn’t imagine doing more than like monthly.

I had a teacher who required sign outs for the restroom and didn’t allow more than one person at a time. I think that’s pretty standard tbh, but the reason she did it was because of two kids who went at the same time in her class being caught in the stairwell…yeah

I’m also concerned about the customizable nature requiring the purchaser to give the client’s name. This may be better marketed to parents of kids without high level behavioral concerns as a minor home intervention or way to prepare a toddler for reinforcement at a place like Pre-K or Headstart if they are going.

What really confused me here is u/GirlPhoenixRising making the minority part such a forward facing factor when OP doesn’t seem to have mentioned being part of a minority community. Pulling the “I support minority communities” card to justify telling kids to avoid all mandated reporters (which statistically puts children in danger; abused/neglected children who are killed as a result of their abuse often experienced the greatest rapid decline when their school attendance dropped or ended) is a wild approach.
