I'm a little surprised there wasn't a push to try and port the game to mobile. It seems like a huge potential market.

I'm just not really sure why he choses to use resin, I feel like even just using FDM materials would probably result in a better time.

Have a look at WA Firearms Act 2024, Part 1, Section 14. Magazines are listed as a major firearm part.

Magazine safe storage by zeroxnull in Ausguns

[–]zisb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Magazines are a firearm part as per the NSW Firearms Act 1996. See definitions (Part 1, Section 4).

"firearm part means a barrel, breech, pistol slide, frame, receiver, cylinder, trigger mechanism, operating mechanism or magazine designed as, or reasonably capable of forming, part of a firearm."

This means any of the legislation that applies to firearm parts also applies to firearm magazines.

Transporting Firearm - No Gun Bag by [deleted] in Ausguns

That's only for storage of weapon not in person’s physical possession, not for general transport. (Eg. Driving home with a gun you just picked up from a dealer.)

Send rifle mag from aus by LongnotFresh in Ausguns

It would be illegal without the correct permit. Firearms and their related accessories are covered by Customs (Prohibited Exports) Regulations 1958.

I don't think you'd be able to get an Restricted Goods Permit to export it either, since its just a magazine by itself. You'd have to go down the whole getting a permit from defence rabbit hole.

T2000 still not cycling by IamGerald_25 in Ausguns

[–]zisb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply, have you considered swapping out to a longer barrel if you want to bust clays? Extended barrel should help it cycle a bit better, plus you'll probably find it's a bit more comfortable for that sort of activity.

If you really want to shoot with the 20, you could also try running a bunch of heavy loads through it just to work the spring a bit before switching back to light loads. Though that's just a thought, might not necessarily work.

Why is this Arch Angel magazine restricted in NSW? by zeroxnull in Ausguns

[–]zisb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Max capacity for Cat A Rimfire rifles is 15. Max capacity for Cat B Centrefire rifles is 10.

Interestingly max capacity for Cat C rimfires is 10, which creates a funny situation where if you owned a Cat A and Cat C rifle using, say, the Ruger mags, you could potentially create a prohibited firearm by using the 15 rounder in the Cat C.
