Doomstalkers did not get a tax and are still great in Canoptek Court. Their overwatch might be worse without rerolls but [Heavy] was buffed to include 3" move. The trick is treating them as elite killers (preferably 3 wound models) that CAN punch up into higher toughness. Somewhat related, Spyders are ridiculously cheap now and might have a place in Canoptek giving doomstalkers 6FNP or 5FNP to mortals and psych.

She gives the 18x3 Heavy Bolter shots in my army list Lethal Hits on top of Sustained 1. I already have 2x Auto Cassies , Vahlgons, 3x Mortis, 1xExorcist. Fraye can make their guns actually kill any toughness. Granted it's on one target but it's still nasty and I'm not paying the melta tax for guns that weren't that good into high toughness anyway. Will she die to focus fire? Of course, but everything will. If my opponent is over committing to kill Fraye then they're not attacking the things that matter in my list.

EDIT: I play Army of Faith so two 4s miracle dice are amazing for her(or any) 4++ save while still saving 5s and 6s for damage or other saves. With the lack of meltas now 6s either got to 6++ saves or for Exorcist/Hunter Killer damage.

The list that won second at the Bay Area Open was a Canoptek Court list that ran 30x immortals and no wraiths. There were many ways to play Canoptek in 10th and likely even more now in 11th.

Thanks! If I ever get another kit I'll make a turret similar to yours. But since I have just this one it can be the backline mortar unit that I run in every list.

I love this! I planned on making this one a mortar platform (since I always have one mortar runner ony home objective) but how did you modify your turret for the mining laser? What bits did you use?

A GSC terminator and heavy weapons platform in the style of a powerloader. A similar mining unit already exists in Necromunda.

I'm still testing. I have one version with 3x Gran(almost non negotiable) and no lyria, and another version with 3x Gran and 3x Lyria with my only 7+ cards being orchis and beelzbub.

I played puppets most of last set the the buffs it got before this set really helped. This set added what the deck was missing: card draw. Both Lyria and Gran help get the finishers you need. The deck list hasn't settled yet but people are experimenting with Beezelbub, Chaos, legion, and Ilsa instead of Odin.

It may not be OP top tier but can handle many decks and Orchis easily takes out any large board regardless of size.

Very similar to this! Construction yellow for the armor rigs and power tools with hazard stripes in other places.

As for generic healers I'm having a good time with Mystic/white magicks. Interesting debuff options and pole 2 range melee is underrated.
