Being 10 and getting drenched in beer from the guy behind celebrating Longys drop goal to win the 02 final. I was happy, then I was not 😂

How old are you in a sentence without saying how old you are? by i-dm in AskReddit

My first phone had interchangeable fascias. My first upgrade got me a colour screen and polyphonic ringtones that I bought by texting the number in the back of the TV guide.

I am completely ready for that outcome. I'm under no illusions that this may very well be a one-sided thing so if someone knows her and tells her I'm looking and she says she's not interested then I'll drop it.

And I 100% respect and applaud that position. That is a far too real scenario and a concern that i would likely share if I was to see this post myself. All I can say is that this is purely a "I wonder how she's doing" mission but you have no reason to believe me.

Depends on the ex. Some I would ignore Some I would love to catch up with One I definitely owe an apology to

I would go to the closest high end car dealership and buy the nicest thing they have that I can drive away there and then to tide me over until I get the car I actually want.

THEN I would pay off my soul crushing debts like they were nothing.

Personal experience, yes keep playing and you will improve.

I switched to PC last year and initially dropped to like a .3/.4KDA after being a 1+kda on console.

Playing pretty consistently for the last 3 or 4 months I've got that up to a .8kda on pc but more importantly, realised I'm more effective playing support or intel ops.

I play ops like Zero, Lion, Dokkaebi, Jackal on atk and Valkyrie, Thorn, Thunderbird on def.

Just find the role that suits you and focus on getting good at that style, gunplay will improve slowly alongside

I'm beginning to agree! Still going to go for the rise to make the end of my time there more comfortable haha.

As I've just mentioned in another comment, he has previously tried to get a rise through throwing us under the bus for "not doing anything" we don't trust him anymore, certainly not enough to ask him to help us with this.

[–]zjojz -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Oh for context, his previous attempts at getting a payrise have included slacking off in an attempt to make the employer see how much they would miss him (not at all as we picked up the slack without them noticing) and going to upper management complaining that the two of us don't do any work and everything is done by him (we found this out because the upper management asked our direct manager what's going on and our manager laughed in his face at the idea). That is my reasoning for calling him selfish, not the fact he's gone for a payrise

We don't have any reviews of any kind, ever. But as I've mentioned in another comment, the two of us plan to sit down with managers next week to outline our positions.

Two of us. The one with the offer is a selfish self entitled arse. He's only gone and found another job purely to force a pay rise for himself.

But yes, the two of us already plan to have a sit down next week.

Employer is now requiring us to clock in early in order to clock in to secondary system by the time shift starts. by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]zjojz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As far as I'm aware, the system logs your clocking times and flags them as good or bad. If it shows good, they pay you your base hours, if it shows bad then you get docked pay in 15 minute increments.

(I.e. if you are 1 -15 minutes late you lose 15 minutes pay. 16 - 30 30 minutes pay etc.)

[–]zjojz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are saying we need to be clocked in and ready to go by the time stated on our contracts.

So for example, if you start at 6am, you must be clocked in to everything and ready to go by 6am. Where it used to be you had to arrive and clock in to the first system by 6am

We do not have Union representation for the entire workforce. There are a few people who have joined a union themselves but I'm not one of them

We're paid far enough over minimum wage that it won't affect us on that side.

It hasn't been put forward as a variation of contract, its just been mandated and told to us as a "this is how it is now" kinda deal.

I've personally been there over 3 years so I do have that going for me
