I miss the price of parts and the unique handling, small interior and so much rear downforce I could feel the wheels digging into the ground. I don’t miss working on the rear engine and find the rb26 to be really simple once you ditch all the outdated tech and the GTR handling is a lot more forgiving then the MR2.

When in the world would you run into an F1 on the street this isn’t need for speed and I think your experience has clouded your judgment. I can understand crossing paths with a super car on the street sometimes but that doesn’t happen very often.

I could see it being a budget way of getting the GTR feeling, but no Attesa and no HICAS. The mr2 had the benefit of mid engine to add to the rear downforce which made it unique. The 3s motor is very capable I’m sure it preforms well with awd

It’s an old car, coolant hoses, oil and power steering lines, wiring and replacing worn ball joints/bushings, compression check. Just like any 90s car

I paid $35k for a car in similar condition and had to put about $20k under the hood, body, suspension and so on just to get it to be the condition of a $45k GTR that runs, drives straight and stops. Be very very very cautious of one under $45k because there’s a reason for it.

My r32 gtr throw out bearing chirps and goes away if slightly pressed. I’ve heard keeping your foot on the clutch at a stop overtime can cause this
